Duties Develop comprehensive event strategies that align with organizational objectives, including community outreach, fundraising, and promotional activities. Coordinate all aspects of event planning and management, from venue selection and vendor negotiations to logistics and on-site execution. Manage budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards for each event. Oversee marketing campaigns related to events, utilizing digital channels, social media, and traditional media to maximize attendance and engagement. Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders through effective negotiation and communication skills. Lead upselling efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance guest experiences with additional services such as catering, entertainment, or premium packages. Ensure exceptional guest services by supervising event staff and volunteers, addressing attendee needs promptly and professionally. Track event performance metrics post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement; prepare detailed reports for leadership review. Requirements Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in hospitality management or public relations, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in event marketing, event planning, or hospitality management within hotel, restaurant, or banquet environments. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts with vendors and venues. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, vendors, and guests. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale events. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Knowledge of fundraising strategies and guest services within a hospitality context is a plus. Proficiency in marketing tools and social media platforms to promote events effectively. Ability to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining attention to detail throughout all phases of event execution.
