JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for all operational aspects of developing, optimizing and implementing automated and ad-hoc email and mobile app communication campaigns for Caesars Entertainment. You will help drive the strategy and execution of all triggered and transactional emails as well as Enterprise-wide marketing emails. This requires knowledge of proven digital marketing techniques, strong team management and project management skills, and, ideally, experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SQL. Effectively manage and motivate a team of direct reports. Direct teams accountable for daily operations of the email and mobile app communication programs Manage relationships with vendors. Develop strong relationships with internal corporate and property teams to continually test and optimize programs. Mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. Partner closely with technology and IT teams to ensure we are using technology to drive the best possible email program, including automating manual processes, achieving optimal data segmentation, and developing behavioral and remarketing campaigns. Review the competitive landscape for best practices and make recommendations. Develop, implement and manage standards and standard processes which increase efficiency, mitigate risk and reduce reactive situations. Proactively monitor metrics and review analysis of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for enhancing effectiveness. Make recommendations to executive team of strategies, road maps, and operating plans for the email marketing channel. Partners with business teams to develop marketing plans that support business objectives while protecting and growing the size and value of our customer email list and maintaining stringent brand guidelines. Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL NEED 4-6
years digital marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years email marketing experience. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field. Experience leading direct reports and cross-functional teams. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud email platform. Experience working closely with database marketers, data warehouse/BI experts, and CRM system vendors. Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors. Proven technical architecture-related problem solving experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and project management skills. Highly-motivated, creative thinker/problem solver. Motivating team leader who celebrates success. Advanced experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other ESP. Proficiency in AMPscript or other scripting language to create variations with a single email. Ability to write and execute SOQL queries and/or understanding of database querying. Must have a proven ability to successfully manage multiple, different streams of work in a challenging, dynamic environment. MUST have excellent WRITTEN and oral communication skills and able to comfortably communicate to all levels of the organization. Ability to work in a collaborative environment and drive several projects at once. Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to achieve results. Demonstrates email marketing expertise with up-to-date knowledge in email best practice design, subject lines, layout, copy and calls to action. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Proficiency in Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Strong email-related HTML experience required, web design experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Superior communication, writing, presentation, and follow-up skills. Evidence of learning quickly and ability to build on existing business foundations. Excellent time and project management with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to take ownership and initiative, and work independently with minimal direction while also functioning and contributing as part of a team. Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively, handle multiple high priority projects concurrently and react quickly to shifting priorities.
