SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager assists in creating, developing and implementing the overall strategic marketing direction of a portfolio of a portfolio of retail properties in Nevada in order to meet corporate business and marketing objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
: Strategic Planning Assists in the execution of annual marketing plan(s) which strategically impact core objectives Research sales and traffic trends routinely and address major changes in market Follow corporate policies and procedures for all programs/promotions Assists in the implementation of all programs and events professionally and timely including fulfillment and execution Measure overall impact of local programs on traffic and sales Assists in the implementation of advertising campaign, upholding and maintaining the brand strategy Organize and maintain tenant relations including frequent contact with tenants to assist with individual marketing campaigns, sales and promotions, as well as encourage participation in center programming and PR efforts Social Media Ability to utilize social and digital media tools for tenant and center promotions Keep informed and adapt to newly emerging technologies Public and Community Relations Develop and implement programs to establish and maintain favorable community and public relations to enhance the image and position within the community Secure partnerships with key community organizations Monitor all local press coverage Tourism (if necessary) Maintain awareness of tourism market Maintain and enhance local travel industry relationships Fulfillment of provided Inquiries/Leads
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years of marketing, management, event or advertising experience in a related field Shopping center marketing experience a plus Excellent interpersonal, communication, selling and negotiation skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others Sound fiscal management and budgeting skills Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Social media skills Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings Strong team building Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Based in Las Vegas with local travel required Reports directly to Marketing Director Special research/marketing projects as assigned Vestar is an equal opportunity employer.
