What you will do:
We are seeking a highly talented Senior Manager of Brand Creative (Art and Design Lead) to join Tillamook's in-house Brand Creative Team. This role will be the design right hand of the Creative Director, responsible for guiding and developing creative in variety of mediums, ensuring that our brand consistently resonates with consumers and customers. This position manages a team of designers and works with cross-functional partners across the enterprise. You will shepherd multiple design projects at once and direct external agencies and freelancers to ensure all creative design development for Tillamook has a consistent voice, tone, and visual direction. This role is for someone who thrives within a fast-paced environment, is always up for the next creative challenge, and enjoys being collaborative, hands-on, and a master at multi-tasking. Here's a day in the life:
Manage and Inspire:
Oversee a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring "art studio" work environment. Guide designers to do their best work and to support each other's strengths.
Plan and Align:
Work closely with the Project Management team, the Production team and Creative Director to prioritize workloads and direct the creative team. Advise on the evolving need for creative resources. Maintain a close working relationship with outside vendors to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
Collaborate and Shepperd:
Work with marketing channel leads, cross functional leads, producers, and external agency partners to ensure all work meets brand standards.
Creative Production:
You will lead, guide, and art direct conceptual development and creative execution of lifestyle and product stills and motion content.
Trends and Innovation:
Maintain high standards for innovative and creative work while staying current with the latest industry trends in advertising and design to ensure the Tillamook brand identity remains the benchmark for the industry. Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent creative design degree
Experience:
8 years experience in-house or in an agency-setting, working with digital media and advertising campaigns and 3+ years people management.
Requirements:
A strong portfolio of diverse and relevant brand work.
Skills:
Extremely proficient in all core Adobe CS programs (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
Knowledge:
Mastery of creative principles for type, photography, art direction and storytelling. A proven track record in advertising and branding.
