About the Role We're looking for an experienced, results-driven Director of Marketing to lead our marketing team and take charge of the strategy behind Full Leaf's continued growth. This is a player-coach role. We are looking for someone to set direction, lead and develop a team of specialists across social, lifecycle, paid ads, PR, web, and content, and roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to the work. You'll oversee a ~$5M annual marketing budget and report directly to ownership. We're a growing company with no shortage of opportunity. The right person will have the chance to make a real mark and help shape where Full Leaf goes next. Key Responsibilities Own and execute Full Leaf's overall marketing strategy across all DTC and e-commerce channels Lead, develop, and coordinate a team that includes a Social Media Manager, Lifecycle Manager, Digital Ads Manager, PR/Engagement Manager, two Web Developers, and content support staff Help identify, recruit, and onboard additional marketing team members as we continue to grow Manage and optimize a ~$5M annual marketing budget with a sharp focus on ROAS, CAC, and LTV Oversee paid advertising across Meta, Google, and other platforms, with hands-on involvement in campaign strategy and performance Drive email and SMS marketing strategy and execution (Klaviyo experience strongly preferred) Guide SEO, content, and web strategy in partnership with the development team Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and ownership on product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics to ownership on a regular cadence Leverage AI tools to improve team output, content efficiency, and campaign testing Requirements 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role, ideally in DTC or e-commerce Proven experience managing a meaningful paid advertising budget ($1M+ preferred) Strong grasp of the full DTC marketing stack: paid social, email/SMS, SEO, content, influencer, and web Experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to hold people accountable while keeping morale high Comfort being a player-coach: you're not looking for a purely administrative role, and you stay close to the work Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and comfort in marketing dashboards and reporting tools Preferred Skills Proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, etc.) to drive efficiency across the team Experience with Klaviyo or comparable email/SMS platforms strongly preferred Background in food, beverage, wellness, or CPG is a strong plus Perks & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Company Performance Bonuses 401(k) with employer match Health, dental, vision, and life insurance fully paid HRA HSA Dependent Care FSA Disability Paid vacation and sick leave Employee discounts Professional development and career advancement
