Market Intelligence Manager Market Intelligence Manager Position Overview We are seeking a Market Intelligence Manager to lead the collection, analysis, and delivery of actionable market insights that support strategic decision-making. The role combines market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and data-modeling skills to turn disparate data into clear opportunity assessments and go-to-market recommendations. The successful candidate will manage market intelligence projects, build and maintain market data models, and apply AI and advanced analytics to improve accuracy and speed of insights. Key Responsibilities Design and execute market intelligence and research programs to inform product strategy, pricing, and commercial planning.
Lead end-to-end MI projects:
define objectives, select methodologies, manage external vendors, and deliver concise reports and presentations to stakeholders. Develop and maintain forecasting models and market data models to quantify market size, share, growth, and scenario outcomes. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data (primary research, syndicated data, internal sales data, competitor signals) into actionable recommendations and executive-ready deliverables. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy teams to surface insights that drive business priorities. Leverage AI, machine learning, and automation tools to accelerate data collection, enhance signal detection, and improve forecasting accuracy. Establish and maintain dashboards, KPI trackers, and recurring intelligence cadences to keep stakeholders informed of market trends and risks. Mentor and manage junior analysts, set standards for analysis, and ensure quality and reproducibility of MI outputs. Champion best practices in market research methodology, data governance, and ethical use of third-party and AI-sourced data. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, strategic insights, or related analytical roles; experience managing MI projects end-to-end. Proven expertise in forecasting techniques and building market data models (time series, cohort analysis, TAM/SAM/SOM). Strong experience with market research methods: primary research, surveys, interviews, competitive analysis, and syndicated data usage. Practical knowledge of AI and advanced analytics applied to market intelligence (NLP for signal extraction, ML forecasting, automation). Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel advanced, SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI or equivalent). Excellent communication skills with experience delivering concise, executive-level presentations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Demonstrated project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Curiosity, commercial mindset, and a bias for turning data into clear business actions.
