Job Description

Overview The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing and advertising initiatives to drive ticket sales and enhance event visibility for live events at PPG Paints Arena. This role will play a crucial role in driving ticket sales and enhancing the overall guest experience. Collaborating closely with promoters and internal stakeholders, the Marketing Manager oversees event-specific marketing plans, media buying, and promotional campaigns. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the position ensures consistent branding, strong event outcomes, and impactful digital engagement across all platforms. This role pays a yearly salary of $68,000 - $70,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities Collaborate with the team on creating marketing campaigns to promote concerts/shows coming to the venues, and explore cross-marketing opportunities throughout the community. Develop relationships with local media partners. Develop and execute marketing plans to promote all artists/tours coming to the venues. Develop and implement creative cash/trade proposals/campaigns with media partners, including digital, radio, print, TV, and outdoor. Manage internal marketing assets for all events, including but not limited to digital displays, posters, ticket giveaways, and more. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party partners to promote events. Develop and execute social media campaigns, email marketing, and promotions to drive ticket sales and fan engagement. Manage and update the venue website. Work closely with the Director of Marketing on post-show recaps. Collaborate closely with the Box Office to ensure all event aspects are accurate and running accordingly. Maintain relationships with promoters, tour marketers, and agency partners to ensure fully aligned event campaigns. Research and follow current music marketing trends and venue marketing efforts and implement best practices in the day-to-day activation. Actively participate in regional marketing initiatives, calls, and collaboration efforts to align with company strategies and share best practices. Support public relations efforts for venue initiatives and announcements beyond event news. Analyze marketing efforts and adjust efforts based on learnings, trends, and activity. Create and implement grassroots initiatives. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing required or equivalent work experience. 3-5+ years in marketing/advertising. Arena or venue marketing experience preferred. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Power user of social media tools with a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within online social networks. Minimal Travel (
