Function:
Strategic Leadership & Operations Enablement What You'll Do Partner on Strategy & Vision Work closely with the VP to shape and bring to life our mid
  • and long-term vision for Software Marketing.
Help develop strategic plans that are practical, measurable, and connected to what matters most to our organization. Keep a pulse on industry trends, technology shifts, and competitive movements, sharing insights that help us stay ahead. Foster collaboration across functions to ensure our marketing strategies align with broader business goals. Drive Key Initiatives Forward Lead and coordinate important projects and programs, ensuring we deliver quality results on time and within budget. Establish a clear "Rhythm of the Business" that helps our leadership team work more effectively through consistent planning, execution, and review cycles. Bring operational discipline and focus to our work, helping everyone stay clear on priorities and accountable for outcomes. Strengthen Our Leadership Team Partner with the VP to help our marketing leadership team communicate better, collaborate more effectively, and perform at a higher level. Oversee key operational aspects including budget management, talent development, and organizational alignment. Create systems and processes that support a high-performing, engaged leadership culture. Lead and Develop Your Team Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team that supports the strategic and operational needs of the organization. Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration within your team, providing regular coaching and feedback. Set clear goals and expectations, conduct performance reviews, and create development opportunities that help team members reach their full potential. Champion Operational Excellence Build frameworks for measuring success through OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and tracking mechanisms. Provide thoughtful analysis of how we're performing and where we can improve, sharing regular insights with leadership. Work alongside our finance partners to monitor budgets, allocate resources wisely, and identify opportunities for strategic investment or efficiency. Support & Enable Leadership Act as a trusted advisor and connector for the VP, ensuring smooth communication with teams and stakeholders. Help prepare for important meetings and presentations with thorough briefing materials and clear insights. Craft executive communications, reports, and presentations that tell our story and inspire alignment across the organization. Tackle Special Projects Jump in on high-priority special projects that align with key organizational shifts or transformation efforts. Bring clarity and structure to complex or evolving challenges, helping us navigate ambiguity with confidence.
What We're Looking For Background & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus). Around 5-10 years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, or executive management—ideally in technology, software marketing, or similar environments. A track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex projects. Proven people management experience, including hiring, developing, and leading teams to achieve strategic objectives. How You Work You're a strategic thinker who can take complex information and turn it into clear, actionable insights. You communicate with confidence and authenticity, building trust with everyone from executives to operational teams. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy bringing people together to solve problems. You're comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at creating structure where it's needed most. You're an inspiring people leader who knows how to motivate, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
Skills & Knowledge :
Strong understanding of software marketing, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes. Proficiency with project management tools, data analysis platforms, and strategic planning approaches. Proven ability to build operational frameworks that help teams work better and achieve measurable results. Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports to build capable, engaged teams.

  • $265,600 annually with a target incentive of 10-15% of the base salary.
