A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
After-School All-Stars NJ is currently seeking a full-time Development and Marketing Manager (DMM) with a focus on Fundraising for the New Jersey Chapter. Reporting to the Executive Director, the DMC's primary responsibility will be to identify, steward, and secure funding to support the chapter and help enhance the ability to offer robust services to students.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Development Research and continuously identify new funding prospects capable of supporting ASAS NJ Prepare and write proposals for new and continuing funding opportunities Steward relationships with new and existing donors Plan and host fundraising events, executing the development vision outlined by the Executive Director Ensure that fund development is aligned with the organization's values, mission, vision and strategic program quality improvement, research and evaluation plans Maintain detailed, transparent records of all activities Communications/Advisory Board Assist in building and managing the Advisory Board Plan and strategize with the Executive Director and Advisory Board to solicit gifts and grants Establish, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships to support the organization Develop and lead a comprehensive communications plan to build awareness and support for the Chapter Collaborate with the Executive Director on ongoing communication with the Advisory Board to ensure the Advisory Board members are fully engaged throughout the year Marketing/Other Track all donor interactions and maximize the use of ASAS systems, such as Raiser's Edge, Canva, GiveSmart, etc. Assist the organization in an ever-evolving environment with the advancement vision Perform other duties as assigned
WHO SHOULD APPLY?

This individual will demonstrate success in development and fundraising, building new relationships, and external and internal communications. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience with grants and a successful fundraising track record in New Jersey is preferred . The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following: 5 or more years of relevant experience in fundraising and communications Excellent oral and written communication skills Passion for our mission Dependable, conscientious, detail-oriented, and capable of managing deadlines Capable of working independently and as part of a team Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required Able to work onsite in a hybrid environment located in New Jersey and occasionally travel to school sites as requested
SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time, salaried position, commensurate with experience. The annual range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. This role is remote-based , and the successful candidate will be available working primarily a remote schedule with hybrid expectations for in-person special events.
