With multiple locations and strong industry partnerships, CBT prepares students for meaningful careers by connecting education to real-world workforce outcomes. Job Summary CBT Technology Institute is seeking a strategic and creative Director of Brand & Marketing to lead how the institution is positioned and perceived across the community. This role is responsible for shaping brand strategy, public facing storytelling, and integrated marketing initiatives that increase awareness, engagement, and qualified lead generation. The Director ensures that CBT's programs and outcomes are communicated in a way that resonates with prospective students, alumni, employers, and the broader community. The Director will guide external visibility and public relations efforts, identifying and amplifying newsworthy stories, fostering media opportunities, and strengthening CBT's presence across community and industry platforms to build trust, credibility, and brand awareness. This role focuses on strategic direction and creative leadership and does not include primary responsibility for day to day marketing execution, which is supported by the internal team and external partners. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and evolution of CBT's brand strategy, ensuring a clear, consistent, and differentiated brand presence
  • Define messaging frameworks and narrative direction that connect programs and outcomes to audience aspirations
  • Develop and oversee integrated campaign strategies that drive audience growth, awareness, and engagement
  • Expand reach into new and underpenetrated audiences through strategic segmentation and outreach
  • Provide creative direction for storytelling, content development, and campaign messaging
  • Guide public relations and external visibility efforts, including identifying press opportunities and amplifying institutional stories
  • Oversee external marketing agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign strategy
  • Lead and align the internal marketing team, ensuring consistency and quality across execution
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Academics, Career Services, and leadership to align marketing strategy with institutional priorities
  • Optimize digital experiences and user journeys to improve engagement and inquiry generation
  • Leverage data insights to continuously refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5-7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership, or creative direction
  • Proven success leading integrated campaigns that drive audience growth and engagement
  • Experience dealing with the Spanish demo, bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing external agencies and cross functional teams
  • Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and leadership capabilities Compensation Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
