Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Event Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing events that support business growth and client engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with expertise in event strategy, campaign execution, stakeholder management, and integrated communications. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in B2B marketing, corporate events, financial services marketing, or integrated campaign management, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role requires strong collaboration across sales, marketing, communications, and executive leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of complex marketing events, conferences, client engagement programs, and business initiatives. Develop event concepts, agendas, audience targeting strategies, messaging, and promotional plans aligned with organizational goals. Manage multiple event marketing projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved. Partner cross-functionally with communications, creative, digital marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated marketing campaigns. Direct creative messaging and event branding across print, digital, social media, web, and presentation materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, external vendors, partners, and stakeholders. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer insights, and industry research to identify opportunities and improve event effectiveness. Support strategic marketing initiatives by providing recommendations, reporting insights, and optimizing engagement strategies. Collaborate with sales leadership and senior business leaders to align event objectives with client acquisition and retention goals. Track event performance metrics, attendee engagement, and campaign outcomes to measure ROI and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Participate in special projects and additional marketing initiatives as needed.
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of experience in event marketing, integrated marketing, campaign management, corporate events, or related marketing roles. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Experience supporting hybrid events, in-person events, webinars, conferences, or corporate marketing initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop compelling messaging and translate product or service features into customer-focused benefits. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Experience collaborating with executive leadership, marketing teams, sales teams, and external partners. Knowledge of financial services, investment products, mutual funds, or regulated industries is a plus. Proficiency with marketing technologies, event management tools, collaboration platforms, and digital communication channels. Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
