Grand Hyatt DFW, located inside Dallas Fort Worth Airport Terminal D, is steps from TSA checkpoints and offers direct access to all terminals. Full-service meeting or event spaces are the perfect setting for their next upscale business meeting. We're seeking an enthusiastic,petitive, and results-driven Group Sales Manager to join the hotel's Sales team. This position is responsible for selling guest rooms and meeting space, managing assigned accounts, soliciting new business, conducting site inspections, and achieving assigned revenue goals. This role will primarily focus on the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, while also targeting corporate group opportunities within the finance and insurance industries. The Group Sales Manager should have a strong understanding of the hotel sales process, account management, prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and customer relationship management. This role may be filled in one of two ways, depending on candidate qualifications:
Local Candidate:
Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Fully Remote Candidate:
Must currently reside in the Northeastern United States, defined as the region from Northern Virginia through Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and related hotel services to assigned group market segments. Manage an assigned account base, including existing customers, special accounts, and target prospects. Solicit and generate new business through proactive outreach, direct sales calls, prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Focus primarily on pharmaceutical and healthcare group business, while also developing opportunities within finance, insurance, and other corporate markets. Prepare and present effective proposals, contracts, and business rmendations that align with client needs and hotel revenue goals. Respond promptly and professionally to leads, RFPs, phone inquiries, emails, and client requests. Conduct site inspections, property tours, pre-planning visits, and client entertainment as appropriate. Negotiate business terms to maximize hotel profitability while satisfying customer needs. Maintain accurate, wellanized documentation, account files, sales activities, production records, reports, and follow-up plans. Partner with Revenue Management, Events, Operations, and hotel leadership to qualify business and ensure smooth turnover of definite groups. Coordinate customer service requirements with internal hotel departments to support successful program execution. Participate in and, when appropriate, lead sales calls, sales blitzes, client meetings, and market outreach. Travel for business development, tradeshows, customer appointments, and industry events. Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, revenue targets, activity expectations, and account production objectives. Represent Grand Hyatt DFW and Hyatt professionally in all customer, colleague, and industry interactions.   • Minimum of two years of hotel sales experience requires.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare group sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling corporate group business, especially within finance and insurance sectors, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the group sales process, account management, prospecting, and customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to solicit, qualify, negotiate, and close group business.
  • Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
  • Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Highlyanized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with sales systems, lead platforms, RFP tools, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel for client appointments, business development, and tradeshows.
  • Self-motivated,petitive, professional, and goal-oriented.
  • Remote-based candidates must be located in Northeast U.
