Reporting to the Director of Payer Marketing, the Manager of Payer Marketing will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve optimal payer coverage and patient access across the product portfolio. This role supports payer, alternative site of care, and other key stakeholder initiatives, translating market access insights and objectives into clear, high-quality messaging and materials. The Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Market Access, Brand, Sales, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory—to ensure aligned execution, consistent messaging, and compliant delivery. This role may be based in our Waltham, MA headquarters, which would be a hybrid role, or it can also be fully remote. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week. If remote, travel to headquarters for meetings would be required at the discretion of management. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Support the development and execution of payer- and alternative site of care-facing promotional materials in support of the Market Access Strategic Accounts team across the product portfolio Assist with access-related marketing initiatives for the Commercial Field Team in close collaboration with Brand Marketing and Patient Support Services Support market access-focused market research and payer advisory boards, ensuring compliance with internal review and regulatory requirements Assess field payer pull-through opportunities, and okay a key role in the development of tools and resources Manage market access sponsorship opportunities and external payer engagement initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, compliance, and measurable value Partner closely with the broader Market Access organization to ensure coordinated execution of payer, pricing, reimbursement, distribution, and patient support strategies Manage expense budgets for areas of responsibility, including budget planning, ongoing tracking, and achievement of financial targets Secure internal review, legal, and regulatory approval for payer, alternative site of care, and access marketing materials, ensuring full compliance with applicable standards and policies Effectively manage multiple agency partners to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within established budgets BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PharmD) with 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least 3 years of payer or market access-related experience Knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefit structures Experience with payer pull-through strategy and tactics Experience supporting and managing materials through the promotional review committee process Strong project management and problem-solving skills Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks Strong commitment to ethical standards Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) Ability to travel up to 20% The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience Viridian offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Competitive pay and stock options for all employees Medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% Paid Parental Leave Short- and long-term disability coverage Life, Travel and
