With locations across Southern California, Northern California, and the Pacific Northwest, we are on a mission to make Korean BBQ culture a mainstream dining experience for all. The Role We are looking for a self-driven Marketing Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day marketing operations with confidence. You will manage your own workstreams, coordinate vendors and partners, and execute campaigns from concept to completion - working closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager on strategy and direction. The ideal candidate is someone who can run with a brief, ask the right questions, and bring ideas to life. You will work across both Baekjeong and Ahgassi brands, collaborating with store GMs, creative vendors, influencers, event partners, and the operations team. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong familiarity with Korean food and culture content trends, and knows how to turn a marketing idea into a real-world activation. Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Content
Manage and grow Baekjeong and Ahgassi social channels (TikTok, Instagram, etc)
Identify trends, memes, and viral formats relevant to Gen Z and food culture audiences
Conduct regular channel audits, track performance metrics, and recommend optimizations to drive growth. Influencer & Brand Partnerships
Find and manage influencer relationships across food, lifestyle, K-Pop, gym, golf, and diverse creator communities
Coordinate food-for-content partnerships and paid ambassador campaigns end-to-end
Track deliverables, usage rights, and post performance for all influencer activations Events & Promotions
Project manage participation in major event activations, and community events
Manage relationships with event organizers and production teams
Build and maintain the annual marketing calendar, including K-Pop and cultural tentpole moments. Vendor & Creative Management
Manage briefs and timelines with our in-house graphic designer for all creative deliverables - menus, signage, social graphics, packaging
Manage print vendors, merchandise suppliers (Alibaba/domestic), and specialty item producers
Coordinate menu photography shoots - compile photo gaps, book photographers, manage logistics QualificationsRequired 5-7 years of marketing experience in restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or consumer brand marketing. 2-4 years of management experience leading marketing projects, campaigns, vendors, or team members.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage campaigns, partnerships, and vendors from inception to completion
Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video content - including what drives performance and why
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing external partners and internal stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and project management tools such as Asana, Notion, or equivalent
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines Strongly Preferred
Genuine passion for Korean food, K-Pop, and Korean culture - you understand the community and the audience
Experience managing influencer programs and food-for-content partnerships
Experience coordinating food or lifestyle events and festivals
Multi-location or franchise restaurant marketing experience
Korean language proficiency is a plus but not required
