Best Life (the consumer app) and Open Life Cloud (our developer platform) are built on this foundation. We're looking for mission-driven teammates who are excited to help people turn their personal data into lasting, positive change. About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to drive growth for the Best Life consumer app — including its integrated conversational AI experience (MCP + OpenClaw chat) — while also building and growing the Program Marketplace on the Open Life Cloud. This person will own the full user lifecycle for Best Life (attraction, engagement, and retention) and will be responsible for attracting creators, influencers, and developers to publish programs in the marketplace. The role starts with a primary focus on making the consumer app successful and then expands to growing the marketplace flywheel. This is a practical, execution-focused growth and marketplace role in a small team. Success requires close collaboration with product and engineering, turning real user behavior into clear marketing, and consistently delivering finished work. Key Responsibilities Best Life Consumer App Growth & Chat Experience Own the user lifecycle: define user types, understand value, and drive attraction, engagement, and retention for the Best Life app. Position and market the conversational experience — including in-app integrated chat and external chat through MCP leveraging Claude, OpenAI, Grok, and the OpenClaw skill — as a core differentiator. Develop clear positioning, messaging, and storytelling grounded in how people actually use the app and its conversational capabilities. Create and manage content across channels (blog, email, in-app messaging, landing pages, app store listings, and social). Manage day-to-day marketing operations including advertising, app store presence, website contact, Discourse community, and Zoho CRM. Work directly with product and engineering to understand new features (including chat capabilities), gather user feedback, and translate that into marketing and product improvements. Regularly use the app (including chat) to generate authentic user stories and identify opportunities. Measurement & Iteration Define which metrics matter and build practical reporting on acquisition, engagement, and retention. Close the loop between marketing activity and real results. Turn user and support feedback into actionable marketing and product insights. Program Marketplace & Platform Growth Build and grow the Program Marketplace on Open Life Cloud by attracting health, lifestyle, and longevity creators, influencers, and developers to publish programs. Support the launch and promotion of Best Life-generated, AI-generated, and influencer/creator programs. Develop positioning and educational content for OpenClaw, MCP, and Open Life Cloud to support marketplace growth. Help establish early marketplace operations and creator support processes (future dedicated platform marketing hires may expand this function). Requirements 4+ years of hands-on marketing experience in consumer apps, growth marketing, or product marketing. Proven ability to take work from concept through to published, measurable results. Strong writing and editing skills with the discipline to produce polished, finished output. Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate work while maintaining high standards for accuracy, tone, and completion. Experience working closely with product and engineering teams. Desire to regularly use the Best Life app to understand the product from the user's perspective. Local to the Raleigh area and able to collaborate in-person one day per week. Nice to Have Experience with health, wellness, lifestyle, or behavior-change apps. Experience managing communities (Discourse, Slack, etc.) or CRM systems (Zoho or similar). Exposure to developer platforms, technical products, or early-stage B2B marketing. Experience with app store optimization, paid acquisition, or email marketing.
