Job Summary The Marketplace Manager leads Herb Pharm's presence on Amazon and TikTok Shop, owning marketplace strategy, sales performance, and day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for product listings, SEO, advertising consoles, pricing strategy, inventory management, and compliance across platforms. The position analyzes marketplace performance data to improve conversion rates, maximize revenue and profitability, and ensure operational efficiency while collaborating cross-functionally to support brand growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the eCommerce marketplace strategy for Amazon and TikTok Shop, delivering against revenue targets and KPIs. Oversee daily marketplace operations, including advertising campaigns, media budgets, inventory management, site merchandising, pricing, and customer experience. Manage relationships with marketplace contacts and external agencies supporting the marketplace business. Lead product catalog management and site merchandising to maximize traffic, conversion, and sales. Monitor customer feedback, product reviews, and seller ratings to provide insights and maintain high standards of service. Ensure compliance by monitoring product catalog for counterfeit and reseller issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, merchandising, planning, operations, finance, etc.) to drive business results. Proactively identify and implement best practices, platform innovations, and process improvements. Resolve day-to-day marketplace challenges efficiently. Generate and share performance reports and insights with leadership to inform strategy and decision-making. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered 5+ years managing online marketplace businesses. 3+ years managing Amazon sales channel. 2+ years managing TikTok Shop channel. Experience launching and scaling new marketplace channels, with full ownership of operations and performance across Amazon and TikTok Shop. Required Qualifications Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask, drive projects from concept to completion, and overcome obstacles. Collaborative and team-oriented; able to work cross-functionally to solve problems and drive results. Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively from executives to team members. Entrepreneurial mindset; willing to roll up sleeves to deliver results and win as a team. Professional, approachable, and high degree of personal integrity.
Working Conditions Work Environment :
This role is fully remote and primarily performed in a home office environment, requiring extended time working at a computer using design tools. Occasional on-site work may be required for photo or video shoots, set styling, or reviewing physical materials, as needed.
Travel Requirements :
10% or less. Travel to events such as Expo West, Brand Partnership Collaborations, and farm events.
Physical Demands :
Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use, with occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
