Position Hiring:
Regional Marketing Manager (Part-Time)
Compensation:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Location:
Markham, Ontario (Remote-based; travel as needed) We are seeking a creative and culturally connected Regional Marketing Manager (Part-Time) to support content creation, social media growth, influencer partnerships, and community engagement initiatives. A key focus of this role is helping expand TRAPPED's presence within Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Japanese , and other multicultural communities through targeted digital marketing, influencer collaborations, ethnic media outreach, and culturally relevant content. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for connecting with different communities are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Build and manage influencer, creator, and community partnership programs, including outreach, negotiations, campaign coordination, and performance tracking. Engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful audience interactions. Maintain content calendars and coordinate marketing initiatives across multiple TRAPPED locations. Create, capture, edit, and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms. Manage and grow multiple social media accounts while maintaining a consistent brand voice and identity. Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. Attend events, grand openings, and promotional activations to capture real-time content and social media coverage. Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to identify new growth opportunities. Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, and ROI, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Support multicultural marketing initiatives and help expand TRAPPED's presence within diverse GTA communities. Qualifications Fluent English speaker is a must Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Proven experience managing social media accounts and influencer campaigns Experience marketing to multicultural and ethnic communities is a strong asset Ability to communicate in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or Tagalog is considered a strong asset Familiarity with ethnic and international digital platforms and community channels, such as RedNote, WeChat, KakaoTalk, LINE, and other culturally relevant social media platforms , is highly desirable. Experience creating culturally relevant content and managing community engagement across diverse audiences Strong organizational skills Able to demonstrate professionalism at all times Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Basic business/franchising background/knowledge would be an asset Business casual dress code Candidates must attach their resumes along with their application, Linkedin profile link is also required to be included on the resume.
