Reporting to:
Co-Owner Responsibilities Own and manage paid search campaigns across all active websites Manage Google Ads campaigns end-to-end, including: Campaign creation Daily bid and budget optimization Keyword strategy Ad copy testing Landing page performance analysis Conversion optimization Conduct ongoing technical and on-page SEO audits across 30+ websites Identify, prioritize, and directly implement SEO fixes and optimizations Monitor and improve organic search rankings, traffic, and lead generation performance Own analytics infrastructure, conversion tracking, and reporting accuracy Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console environments Develop actionable reporting dashboards and performance summaries for leadership Analyze cost-per-acquired-customer (CAC), conversion rates, and channel ROI Read and edit HTML directly for routine SEO and tracking updates Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, testing initiatives, and marketing priorities Maintain documentation of website performance issues, fixes, and optimization opportunities Stay current on search engine algorithm updates, paid media trends, and SEO best practices Requirements 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with a focus on paid search and SEO Proven experience managing annual paid search budgets of $150,000+ Demonstrated SEO success across multiple websites simultaneously (10+ sites strongly preferred) Expert-level proficiency with: Google Ads Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Search Console Google Tag Manager (GTM) Proficiency with SEO and auditing platforms including Ahrefs or SEMrush and Screaming Frog Comfortable reading and editing HTML directly for on-page SEO and tracking implementation Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting traffic, conversion, and attribution data Experience building and optimizing B2B lead generation funnels Strong written communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently in a high-ownership environment Preferred Qualifications B2B marketing experience in regulated, compliance-related, logistics, transportation, or insurance industries Experience managing SEO strategy across large multi-site environments Familiarity with technical SEO concepts including crawlability, schema, site speed, indexing, and canonicalization Experience improving CAC efficiency through landing page optimization and conversion testing Prior experience working in fast-growth or performance-driven organizations Experience operating in remote-first environments Familiarity with hosting environments and website deployment workflows
Pay, Benefits & Tools Base Hourly:
$43.27 - $55.34
Performance Bonus:
Up to $15,000 annually tied to cost-per-acquired-customer and organic traffic targets
Total Compensation Ceiling:

Two measurable performance targets will be established during onboarding. Confirmation of full-time status on day 91 will be contingent upon achievement of agreed-upon targets. Candidates will need to complete a written website audit assignment during the interview process. Hoffenmer will provide links to three company websites. Candidates must review the websites, identify five specific issues, and provide recommended fixes for each issue.
