POSITION SUMMARY
POSITION SUMMARY Transwestern's Mid-Atlantic Marketing team is seeking a highly strategic, detail-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and business development efforts for its Tenant Advisory practice in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role balances the development of marketing collateral that drives new business with strategic and holistic support of all stages of the marketing funnel from market visibility and client engagement through pursuit execution and delivery. The Senior Marketing Manager partners closely with brokers, leadership, the larger Mid-Atlantic and national marketing teams, and cross-functional service verticals to shape messaging, manage workflows, and deliver high-impact materials and campaigns. This individual serves as a trusted partner to internal clients, leads a small marketing team, and drives day-to-day execution and process. Success in this role requires strong organizational discipline, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and tight timelines without compromising quality. This is an in-office role based in Washington, D.C., with the expectation of daily collaboration with brokerage, leadership and the marketing team. Remote work will not be considered.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Business Development Lead campaigns, proposals and projects from kickoff through delivery, partnering with brokers, leadership, and marketers to develop messaging, materials and positioning with a strong emphasis on clarity, organization and differentiation Conduct research on prospects, clients and market dynamics to inform materials and strengthen positioning Partner with research to incorporate relevant data and insights into pursuits and deliverables Content, Systems and Operational Excellence Write, edit, and oversee development of marketing materials across formats, maintaining consistency and quality Build and maintain regional Tenant Advisory content libraries including case studies, resumes, and key messaging Manage, utilize, and optimize marketing tools, platforms, and systems to support deliverable execution and tracking (Monday.com, LeaseUp, Matterport) Implement a systematic review and reporting process for email viability and send list management (xRM/Click) Maintain organized systems for marketing assets, templates, and documentation Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team workflows Positioning and Public Relations Position brokers and leadership in the market through coordinated visibility initiatives including award submissions, event presence and speaking opportunities Coordinate client and prospect touchpoints, including email communications, events and campaigns Partner with marketing leadership, regional public relations and brokerage teams to support media and awareness campaigns Lead social media strategy for the Tenant Advisory brokerage team, including the development of a robust content calendar Stakeholder and Team Leadership Serve as the primary point of contact for internal Tenant Advisory clients, managing expectations, timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects Lead, mentor and assign/prioritize work for a small marketing team, ensuring high-quality output and professional development Collaborate across brokerage, research, design and leadership teams to establish priorities and execute with accuracy and efficiency Confidently manage up, guiding stakeholders through timelines, deliverables, and production needs Project Management and Delivery Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, maintaining strict control over timelines, milestones, quality and deliverables Establish clear workflows and communication to ensure efficient, on-time execution Rapidly reprioritize in response to shifting deadlines and business needs Ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, and delivered at a high level of quality
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field 7-10+ years of marketing experience within commercial real estate or a professional services environment Demonstrated experience supporting and executing business development pursuits (RFPs, RFIs, presentations) Experience managing internal stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Prior experience managing or mentoring team members preferred Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required; working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator preferred High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) required Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly translate ideas into polished deliverables Proven ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and execute under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Professional presence with the ability to effectively interface with senior leadership and internal clients Experience with CRM and email management and reporting platforms is required Experience using Monday.com, LeaseUp, and Matterport preferred
Portfolio:
Representative work samples are highly suggested but not required. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with an expected salary range of $110,000 to $125,000, depending on qualifications and expertise.
