Job Description

Social & Brand Activations Manager We are partnering with a company in the consumer products industry to identify a Freelance Social & Brand Activations Manager for a 4-6 month engagement. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, with approximately three days in office each week and Mondays required onsite. Position Overview This role will lead social marketing execution, creator partnerships, and brand activation programs across multiple channels. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on content leadership, strong project management, and operational follow-through. You will serve as a key connector across agencies, internal creative teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure campaigns, events, and content programs are executed smoothly and on brand. Key Responsibilities Creator, Influencer, and Partner Management Manage creator and influencer programs from onboarding through execution, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and internal approvals. Guide creative development for partner content, including brainstorms, messaging, scripts, and shot lists. Support ambassador outreach, earned gifting initiatives, mailers, and shipment coordination. Maintain strong working relationships with external creators, agencies, and PR partners. Social Media and Organic Content Partner closely with agency teams to manage social calendars and day-to-day campaign execution across major social platforms. Develop, capture, and edit content for organic and amplified use, including copy, short-form video, imagery, overlays, and audio integration. Oversee community management efforts, including responses to comments and direct messages, giveaway support, and escalation of customer concerns when needed. Help identify opportunities to increase engagement, strengthen audience connection, and support brand growth. Brand Activations and Events Coordinate experiential activations from early planning through on-site execution. Prepare briefs, manage logistics, and support event-related asset development and shipment tracking. Partner with internal teams to curate products, displays, and supporting materials for activations and showrooms. Ensure all event and campaign elements stay aligned with brand standards and approval requirements. Creative Operations and Paid Support Lead recurring creative syncs and develop clear briefs for content production and campaign support. Manage asset trafficking across organic social, paid media, digital placements, and related marketing channels. Support content formatting and resizing needs across multiple placements and specifications. Assist with campaign setup elements and organization of creative deliverables. Cross-Functional Marketing Support Collaborate with PR, licensing, retail, and product teams to align messaging and campaign execution. Help prepare approval materials, presentations, and marketing recaps for internal and external stakeholders. Support key retail and promotional moments with timely asset coordination and content updates. Participate in regular partner meetings to keep initiatives moving on schedule. Reporting and Platform Management Build performance reports using social analytics platforms and native channel insights. Create clear KPI summaries and presentation-ready recaps for seasonal and campaign-level reporting. Troubleshoot platform access, account maintenance, and operational issues as they arise. Track performance trends and recommend optimizations based on results. Qualifications Proven experience in social media management, influencer marketing, brand activations, or integrated consumer marketing. Background working with agencies, consumer-facing brands, or fast-paced marketing teams preferred. Strong knowledge of social analytics tools, native platform insights, and content management workflows. Ability to write, edit, and guide creative development for social-first content. Experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, approvals, and detailed operational processes. Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence leading cross-functional conversations. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
