Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to grow brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support sales objectives for our garage door distribution business. This role requires a mix of hands-on digital marketing skills, local market knowledge, and industry insight to effectively position our company as a trusted supplier for dealers, contractors, and end customers. This position will work both on trade (B2B) and retail (B2C) Segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with company growth goals and sales targets. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of funds and measurable ROI on campaigns. Develop 2026 budget plan and proposal in November Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the garage door and building materials industry.Market trends:

keyword research to stay relevant in search queries Manage email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer communications. SF or HubSpot marketing blasts once a month (at least) Possible topics: November "Winter Prep & Reliability", December "End of Year Sale + Gratitude message for customers", January "New Year, New Door / Service Request", February "Cold Weather Safety & Maintenance", Plan and execute digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, social media, etc.) to attract contractors, dealers, and homeowners. Mix of B2B and B2C content Use meta ads to promote sales / promotions when promos are running Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics; adjust campaigns to maximize engagement and conversions. Monthly reports of Google Ads & Meta Ads Report on clicks, conversions, CTR, Avg. CPC Pull monthly report from website forms 'contact' and 'free estimate' to see how much traffic comes from Google Ads or social media and whether it turns into a viable lead Branding & Communications Maintain consistent branding across all marketing materials, vehicles, and trade show displays. Develop marketing collateral including brochures, product catalogs, installation guides, and promotional materials. Manage social media presence (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and create relevant industry content. Content calendar shared before each month through Notion Coordinate photography and video content for product launches and company promotions. Monthly coordination with scheduling / sales team on job photography Coordination with sales team on promotions Sales Support & Events Collaborate with the sales team to create tools, presentations, and promotions that drive revenue. Organize trade shows, open houses, and customer appreciation events to strengthen business relationships. Plan and host MBA event MBA, MABA, NARI and other trade show events Work with manufacturers and suppliers on joint marketing initiatives and co-op advertising programs.
