Esoteric Mind & Soul is a spiritual and metaphysical lifestyle brand. While our retail storefront is a startup in growth mode, roots run deep The Role We're hiring a part-time Social Media & Marketing Manager as an independent consultant to lead our digital marketing presence, grow our social channels, and help drive traffic and sales to our Shopify store. This is a hands on, high ownership role for someone who wants to do meaningful work, see the direct impact of their efforts, and grow their compensation as the business grows. What You'll Do Develop and execute a social media content strategy across relevant platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.) Generate revenue goal of $3000 monthly from developed social media content Continued revenue increase goal by half from previous month from social media platforms Create, schedule, and manage engaging content that reflects our brand voice and aesthetic Run and optimize paid social and digital ad campaigns to drive website traffic and sales Track performance metrics and adjust strategy based on what's working Identify and pursue networking, partnership, and community-building opportunities that bring new customers to the brand Collaborate on promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns Help grow our email list and customer engagement channels What We're Looking For Proven experience managing social media and/or digital marketing for a brand, business, or e-commerce store Sales background with proven record of revenue building growth Strong understanding of content strategy, audience growth, and conversion focused marketing Comfort working independently and proactivelythis is a small business, and initiative matters Experience with Shopify, paid social ads (Meta/Instagram, etc.), and basic analytics tools is a strong plus Genuine interest in or alignment with the spiritual/metaphysical space is a bonus, not a requirement Someone looking for a long-term relationship, not just a short-term gig Pay & Growth Potential We want to be transparent: our starting hourly rate of $15-$17/hour reflects our current operating budget as a growing retail business. This is a starting point, not a ceiling. This role is structured for growth. As you help drive revenue through website sales, marketing campaigns, and networking your pay grows with the results you generate. There is no cap on your earning potential here. Marketing professionals who can consistently drive and maintain sales growth through our website and their own networking efforts have a realistic path to six-figure earnings with us over time. We're specifically looking for someone who can not only grow sales, but sustain that growth over time. To reflect that, we plan to formally review performance and pay every three months (quarterly). Pay increases are tied to sustained revenue growth the sales you help drive provided that growth translates into healthy profit for the business. other words, topline sales growth is what earns you a raise, but that growth needs to actually be profitable for the business in order for us to fund it. As revenue grows, so does our investment in you. Our plan is to roll out additional benefits as the business earns profits. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the business for years to come not just complete tasks, but help build something and share in its success.
