Social Media and Marketing Manager (Part-time)

Willis Kids Pediatric Dentistry is a brand-new, modern pediatric dental practice opening in early 2026 in Willis Town Center — and we're creating a bright, cheerful, family-friendly dental home for little Texans! Our practice will focus on creating a fun, seamless, and positive experience for our patients and their families. What You'll Do Come on-site once a week to film short-form video content with our doctor, team, and (with consent) our patients — capturing treatment highlights, team moments, office tours, behind-the-scenes, and trend-driven skits Edit and publish polished short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook — with captions, music, transitions, and hooks that stop the scroll Own the content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook — planning, scheduling, and posting consistently (aim for 4-5 posts per week per platform) Research and adapt trends — identify viral sounds, formats, and hashtags early and translate them into on-brand content for a pediatric dental audience Design simple graphics in Canva — patient education infographics, promo tiles, holiday posts, review highlights, story templates Engage with our community — respond to comments and DMs, monitor local parenting groups, flag reputation issues, and help grow our local following Report monthly on what's working — follower growth, reach, engagement, top-performing posts, and recommendations for the next month What You Bring (Must-Haves) Proven track record building social media presence for a brand, small business, or creator account — please share links and real follower/engagement numbers you helped grow Hands-on expertise with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook — you know each platform's algorithm quirks, ideal post times, and native features cold Strong video editing skills — comfortable in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar; can shoot, cut, caption, and color a Reel end-to-end Canva proficiency — able to produce clean, on-brand infographics, carousels, and story graphics without hand-holding Trend radar — you spend time on TikTok and Reels daily and can spot a trend while it's still climbing Reliability and ownership — you show up on your filming day prepared, hit your posting cadence, and communicate proactively Kid-friendly presence — comfortable working in a pediatric environment and understanding HIPAA/patient-privacy basics (we'll train on the specifics) Bonus Points For WordPress experience — able to make website updates (new pages, blog posts, images, plugin updates) Google Business Profile management and local SEO fundamentals Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, family, or local-service-business social media On-camera comfort — willing to be a recurring face in content if the fit is right Basic photography skills and your own camera/lighting kit How to Apply Please send the following to drsharma@willispediatricdentistry.com A short intro (a Reel, Loom, or written note — whichever shows you best) Links to 2-3 social accounts you've built or managed, with a sentence on the results you drove 3 ideas for Willis Kids Pediatric Dentistry content you'd film in your first week Your availability and hourly rate expectation
