COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. Supervisor of Markets+ Market Design - Pay range $112,240 - $145,810 Join our team as a Supervisor of Markets+ Market Design ! The Supervisor of Markets+ Market Design leads the development and implementation of Markets+ market design policy, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements. This role evaluates the impact of policy changes, supports coordination of key Markets+ initiatives, and serves as a central point of collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders. The position also provides leadership and direction to staff responsible for implementation support and coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development and implementation of Markets+ market design policies and plans Coordinate market design changes across systems, processes, and stakeholders Engage with stakeholders, participants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams Analyze market data and operations to identify issues and improvements Support and represent Markets+ initiatives in committees and working groups Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for team members To be successful in the role we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science or related field Six (6) years of job-related experience obtained in a responsible role related to or directly applicable to SPP market operations OR Eight (8) years of experience in a related field.
Required:
Experience in wholesale electric or other electric markets and their design Strong interpersonal and team-building skills Strong organizational skills Excellent facilitation skills for internal and external team/group meetings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competent working skills with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Access Demonstrate proficiency in business acumen and professional conduct Demonstrate the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities Understanding of and compliance with
SPP Policies and Procedures Preferred:
Advanced knowledge of the SPP market design and software Supervisory experience Advanced degree or professional certification in related field of study
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of the workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
