Summary:
The Temporary Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of product marketing strategies across ZO Skin Health's product portfolio during a defined assignment period. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product positioning, launch excellence, portfolio growth, and commercial success. The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer with strong leadership, analytical, and project management capabilities who can quickly assess business needs and execute high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies for assigned product categories and portfolio initiatives. Drive end-to-end product launch planning and execution, including positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and commercialization plans. Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Education, and Digital teams to align product initiatives with business objectives. Develop compelling product positioning and value propositions based on market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence. Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and trend monitoring to identify opportunities and risks that impact portfolio performance. Lead the creation and execution of product marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall brand and business strategies. Oversee the development of product marketing materials, sales enablement tools, presentations, training resources, and digital content. Analyze product performance, campaign effectiveness, and market feedback to provide recommendations for optimization and growth. Support and influence pricing, promotional, and portfolio management decisions through data-driven insights. Lead training initiatives for commercial and cross-functional teams to strengthen product knowledge and launch readiness. Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals. Serve as a key product marketing leader, providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to internal stakeholders and project teams. Identify opportunities to improve product marketing processes, launch execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in skincare, beauty, or consumer health. Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Experience creating marketing collateral, sales tools, and campaign support materials. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms.
Work Hours:
The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The position resides in Orange County but is hybrid with 2 days being remote work.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or negligible amounts of force frequently, to move objects. This job also requires constant sitting. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, and position tools and equipment. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols and maintain a professional and polished appearance.
