Job Description

Brand Manager Position Overview The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving brand growth through the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen market presence, increase consumer engagement, and deliver business results. This role will oversee brand planning, product marketing, retail activation, agency management, and cross-functional project execution while maintaining accountability for brand performance and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical marketer with consumer packaged goods experience and a proven ability to translate insights into impactful marketing programs. This individual will be a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building brands that resonate with consumers. Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Business Planning Develop long-term brand strategies and growth plans in partnership with leadership and key stakeholders. Create and execute annual marketing plans designed to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives. Manage brand performance metrics and leverage insights to optimize marketing investments and business outcomes. Support P&L management through budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis. Marketing Program Development & Execution Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs, including advertising, promotions, pricing strategies, public relations, and retail marketing initiatives. Serve as the primary project manager for key marketing campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Plan and execute trade show and event marketing programs that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Drive point-of-purchase and merchandising initiatives through effective vendor and agency management. Agency & Cross-Functional Leadership Manage external agency relationships across creative, media, public relations, promotions, research, and strategic partnerships. Develop and communicate clear brand briefs and strategic direction to agency partners. Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Development, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and successful program execution. Maintain ongoing communication with field sales teams to drive execution and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Analytics & Performance Management Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators to evaluate marketing effectiveness and brand health. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insight gathering to identify growth opportunities. Resolve challenges proactively and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives. Ensure compliance with budget requirements, brand standards, and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required. 5+ years of consumer packaged goods marketing experience; personal care or beauty industry experience preferred. Experience managing multiple brands and executing integrated marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer insights, and marketing analytics. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable marketing programs. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative leadership style.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$100,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience
Additional Compensation:
Eligible for bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
