Market Launch Manager

As we expand across the country, we're seeking entrepreneurial leaders to help us plant our flag in new markets and grow something meaningful from the ground up. As a Market Launch Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our multi-state expansion strategy, serving as the regional founder for your territory and setting the stage for long-term growth. What You'll Do As a Market Launch Manager based in Sioux Falls, you'll operate from one of our most established and high-performing regions while leading the expansion into new surrounding markets across the Midwest. This role combines the advantage of an existing operational foundation with the entrepreneurial challenge of opening and scaling new territories in cities such as Sioux City, Des Moines, Lincoln, Kearney, and Kansas City. You'll also partner closely with our Midwest Regional Leader to support key account management and operational initiatives within the Sioux Falls market as we scale our broader regional presence. Your Key Responsibilities Include Territory Development & Sales Leadership Drive new market expansion beyond Sioux Falls by developing relationships and generating sales opportunities in surrounding Midwest territories, including Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and other strategically prioritized regions Identify and pursue sales opportunities across schools, youth organizations, and community partners in both established and expansion markets Own your pipeline: generate leads, respond to RFPs, pitch decision-makers, and close new business Develop market intelligence to inform pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market approach Serve as the primary relationship-builder and brand representative in your region Client Experience & Retention Support the Midwest Regional Leader with account management, service execution, and relationship development for select existing Sioux Falls-area partners Build systems and routines that scale with your territory's growth Lay the foundation for client retention and expansion over time Why This Role Matters Our success in each new region begins with one person: you. You'll leverage our 100+ year reputation for reliability with modern sales and operational systems (including HubSpot CRM and comprehensive territory management tools) to build lasting partnerships schools can count on. Target Compensation Base Salary :
$38-40
K Variable Compensation :

  • Expand:
    Leverage the strength of the Sioux Falls market to drive new regional growth—build pipelines in surrounding territories, win early anchor clients in new cities, and support key operational and account management initiatives locally. Year 2
  • Establish:
    Expand your presence by deepening partnerships, growing your client base, and managing a broader network of photographers and clients. Year 3
Optimize:
Strengthen retention, scale your impact, and refine your systems. Begin preparing for the transition into a formal leadership role by demonstrating readiness to oversee a mature territory. As your territory reaches full maturity, you'll be positioned to step into an Area Manager role with expanded responsibilities—managing a larger team, growing your regional influence, and helping shape the future of Scherling Photography as we expand nationally.
