This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who is passionate about storytelling, content creation, community building, and audience engagement. Our company operates multiple established brands within the trading card industry, including live-stream sports and TCG card sales, professional card grading services, and a retail storefront located in Fort Worth, Texas. As we continue to grow, we are focused on creating brand cohesion across our existing businesses while strengthening our reputation as a premier destination for collectors, players, and hobby enthusiasts throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Social Media & Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping our digital presence, driving customer engagement, increasing brand awareness, and fostering meaningful relationships both online and within the local community. Candidates with experience in the sports card, collectibles, or trading card game industries are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with hobby culture, live-stream commerce, card grading, and collector communities will be considered a significant advantage. Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Marketing Develop and execute comprehensive social media and marketing strategies across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Create cohesive brand messaging and visual consistency across multiple company brands, services, and customer touchpoints. Lead initiatives that strengthen awareness of our live-stream sales channels, retail location, grading services, events, and community programs. Help establish a unified marketing vision that connects all aspects of the business while maintaining the unique strengths of each brand. Stay current on digital marketing trends, platform algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging opportunities within the collectibles industry. Content Creation & Storytelling Create, curate, and manage engaging content including graphics, short-form videos, photography, blog posts, livestream promotional materials, and customer success stories. Capture and showcase exciting hobby moments, product releases, card submissions, grading reveals, live breaks, tournaments, and in-store events. Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators to produce compelling multimedia campaigns. Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels. Proofread all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and professionalism. Community Engagement & Events Build and strengthen relationships within the Sports Card and TCG communities both online and throughout the DFW area. Develop local marketing initiatives that increase community involvement through tournaments, trade nights, hobby events, charity partnerships, school programs, and collector meetups. Engage with customers, influencers, content creators, industry partners, and local organizations to expand brand reach. Manage community interaction across social platforms and live-stream channels. Help position our brands as active contributors to the local collecting and gaming communities. Paid Advertising & Digital Growth Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms, Google, TikTok, and other digital channels. Optimize advertising performance to maximize reach, engagement, customer acquisition, and return on investment. Support e-commerce and retail sales initiatives through targeted marketing campaigns and promotional strategies. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and website performance. Analytics & Performance Reporting Utilize Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms to measure campaign effectiveness. Monitor social listening tools to track brand sentiment, industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity. Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for growth and optimization. Report campaign performance and marketing insights to leadership. Public Relations & Industry Presence Build relationships with media outlets, influencers, hobby personalities, grading partners, event organizers, and industry stakeholders. Coordinate public relations initiatives that enhance brand visibility and credibility within the collectibles industry. Identify partnership opportunities that strengthen our presence in both local and national hobby communities. Qualifications & SkillsRequired Experience Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, brand management, or a related field with a portfolio demonstrating measurable results. Strong understanding of content marketing, audience engagement, and community building. Experience managing multiple brands or business divisions under a unified marketing strategy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Technical Skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with video editing software and creating engaging short-form content for social media. Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, Google Analytics, and web analytics platforms. Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms. Experience developing and managing paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, and other digital channels. Understanding of e-commerce marketing and customer acquisition strategies. Preferred Experience Knowledge of the Sports Card, Trading Card Game (TCG), collectibles, hobby, or memorabilia industries. Active participation in or familiarity with sports card collecting, Pokémon,
Magic:
The Gathering, One Piece, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or other major TCG communities. Understanding of hobby market trends, product releases, card grading, breaking, live-stream selling, and collector behavior. Experience marketing retail businesses, events, or enthusiast-focused brands. Familiarity with live-stream commerce platforms and community-driven sales environments.
