We are seeking an experienced CPG Brand Manager who is passionate about strategically driving brand growth, uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative products and marketing campaigns to grow a major strategic Bimbo Bakeries USA category that includes multiple global brands. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment developing strategies to drive sales and market share of BBU products through numerous marketing strategies including driving household penetration, distribution, promotion, consumer insights, PR, innovation, advertising and social media. As a Brand Manager, you will operate as a business leader, owning key levers across the marketing mix and partnering cross-functionally to bring ideas to life. You will play a critical role in translating consumer and market understanding into actionable strategies, while leading complex initiatives from concept through execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment and is ready to take the next step in brand leadership. Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of brand and portfolio strategies, in close partnership with senior marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Own business performance by analyzing KPIs (sales, share, profitability, distribution, innovation performance) and translating insights into clear action plans. Identify growth opportunities through deep consumer, customer, and competitive analysis, informing both short- and long-term strategies. Drive innovation pipeline development in partnership with R D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams, from ideation through commercialization. Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, including advertising, PR, digital, promotions, and in-market activation. Team member of bi-weekly steering calls including Key Account, Bakery and Business Unit calls. Issue next steps/action plans accordingly. Oversee consumer research and product scoring processes, ensuring insights inform strategic decisions and execution Close collaboration and key team member of multiple strategic cross-functional teams including Sales, R D, Manufacturing, Packaging, Finance, Purchasing, and agencies. Lead budget planning and invoicing process in accordance with Finance. Partner closely with Sales and Customer teams to develop compelling selling stories, presentations, and go-to-market strategies. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted. 4-5+ years of experience, CPG preferred. MBA is a plus. Experienced in Social Media Marketing and analytics. Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources and use that data to convey compelling selling stories/solutions for the sales force. Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in Syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen, Circana). Working knowledge of marketing plan development and execution.
