Wild Pony is a San Antonio-based custom hat experience and lifestyle brand specializing in elevated western-inspired styling, hat customization, branding, and hospitality-driven retail and events. From in-store experiences to pop-ups, private events, resorts, and corporate activations, Wild Pony creates memorable experiences centered around creativity, connection, and personal style. We are seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Retail & Brand Experience Manager to support the continued growth of our experiential retail and events brand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys elevated customer experiences, community engagement, retail operations, merchandising, and creating a welcoming in-store environment while also supporting operational and administrative initiatives behind the scenes. This position will primarily support day-to-day retail operations within our store/community space while also assisting with in-store activations, community events, and operational support tied to the retail location. The Retail & Brand Experience Manager will oversee daily retail operations, customer experience, merchandising, inventory organization, and overall store presentation while also supporting in-store events, community activations, and operational coordination tied specifically to the retail location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality-driven environments, enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for presentation and organization, and is excited to help grow an elevated experiential retail concept. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Operations & Customer Experience Deliver an elevated, welcoming, and personalized customer experience Assist guests with hat styling, customization, and product selections Manage daily retail operations and opening/closing procedures Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards Support product merchandising, displays, restocking, and inventory organization Process transactions accurately through POS systems Assist with appointment scheduling and customer follow-up Help support retail sales performance and customer retention Community & In-Store Experiences Support in-store events, activations, workshops, and community gatherings Assist with coordination and preparation for retail-space experiences Help create a welcoming and engaging in-store environment Support hospitality touches and guest flow during events and activations Assist with light social/content moments within the store as needed Administrative & Operational Support Support retail scheduling and operational coordination Assist with inventory tracking and organization Support Shopify/POS updates and light reporting Assist with customer communication and administrative tasks Support operational organization tied to the retail location QUALIFICATIONS
Retail, hospitality, events, or customer experience background preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-starter with a proactive and positive attitude Comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with operational tasks Strong sense of presentation, hospitality, and customer service Interest in fashion, western lifestyle, hospitality, or experiential brands is a plus Bilingual a plus POSITION DETAILS
