Product Marketing Lead The Product Marketing Lead is a commercially driven and strategically minded role responsible for leading and owning the go-to-market success of key mining technology products within their product vertical. Operating at the intersection of customer insight, product strategy, and market execution, this role is accountable for defining and driving the positioning, messaging, and growth of assigned product lines. This role requires an experienced product marketer ready to take full ownership of their portfolio space and drive commercial performance and growth to achieve key targets. Duties & Responsibilities Lead Product Positioning & Value Proposition Strategy Define and own strategic product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions tailored to segments, regions, and personas Drive adoption through sharper product differentiation Drive internal alignment across Sales, Product, and Global Commercial teams Drive Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Execution Build and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches, feature releases, enhancements, and geographic expansions Ensure organizational readiness for launches and releases Conduct post-launch analysis to drive product and process optimization Own Campaign Strategy & Demand Activation Design and oversee targeted, multi-channel campaigns aligned to commercial goals and revenue targets Lead collaboration with Digital Marketing, Creative, Sales, Global Commercial Managers, and Product Strategy Managers Content Strategy for Product Marketing Assets Lead the development and evolution of high-impact product marketing content across multiple formats Translate complex technical product information into clear, compelling, customer-focused content Ensure consistent and effective storytelling throughout the buyer and user journey Lead Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a strategic lead and conduit between internal teams Align cross-functional goals, share insights, and drive joint execution Improve speed-to-market and operational effectiveness through collaboration Customer-Led Product Marketing Gather customer insights and feedback to refine positioning and strategy Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify opportunities Monitor market trends and competitor activity to strengthen product differentiation Ensure all product marketing activities reflect customer needs, challenges, and desired outcomes Leadership and Collaboration Build strong partnerships and collaborate across teams to achieve shared objectives Provide and receive constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Promote accountability, respect, and effective communication Drive collaboration and informed decision-making across the organization Health, Safety and Environment Comply with all IMDEX Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policies and procedures Report hazards, incidents, unsafe conditions, and quality concerns in accordance with company requirements Participate actively in safety initiatives and meetings Risk and Compliance Support risk management and compliance activities within your scope of work Follow all applicable IMDEX policies, legal requirements, and compliance standards Report potential misconduct or non-compliance through appropriate channels
Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a product or solution marketing role Proven experience owning product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement initiatives Demonstrated success developing and leading product launches and marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and measurement Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate customer insights into compelling messaging and business outcomes Experience creating sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, playbooks, battlecards, and training content Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a variety of audiences Preferred Qualifications Experience within the mining technology industry Experience marketing complex technology, software, or SaaS solutions Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Product, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams Skills & Competencies Product positioning and messaging development Go-to-market strategy and execution Campaign planning and demand generation Customer and market research Competitive analysis Sales enablement Cross-functional leadership Strategic thinking Stakeholder management Project leadership Strong presentation and communication skills Data-driven decision making Collaboration and relationship building
