00 Hourly Position Type PT1 Apply Description Purpose of the Position The Marketing Manager/Coordinator supports the practice's outreach, promotional, and referral growth efforts by providing marketing, public relations, and business development services. The primary goal of this role is to increase patient referrals from existing providers and secure new business from non-referring physicians while enhancing brand awareness across all locations. This individual actively engages with the community, distributes marketing materials and educational information, manages digital platforms, supports events and special programs, and tracks referral trends to drive strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Brand Management Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive marketing plans for multiple practice locations (Burke, Reston, and Alexandria). Develop and execute an annual promotional and events calendar. Oversee design, branding, and graphics for all marketing materials. Execute digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media campaigns, and content distribution strategies. Manage website content updates, enhancements, and revisions in collaboration with leadership and marketing vendors. Create, enhance, and publish engaging social media content to expand the referral network and strengthen brand presence. Referral Development & Community Outreach Work daily in the field promoting practice services through call planning, provider visits, follow-up, appointment scheduling, and reporting. Coordinate and attend promotional events, open houses, study clubs, educational sessions, speaker engagements, and one-on-one meetings. Assist in strengthening relationships with dental practices and healthcare providers through targeted outreach and partnership-building efforts. Order, prepare, and deliver marketing materials, educational information, patient care items, and gifts to referring offices on a cyclical basis. Serve as a company representative at marketing and community events. Monitor and maintain referral databases; track referral trends and expenses. Prepare and present referral data reports to practice surgeons and leadership to support strategic growth initiatives. Event Planning & Internal Engagement Coordinate and support company-sponsored events and promotional campaigns. Assist with event logistics including materials preparation, mailings, and fulfillment of information requests. Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities such as team-building events, office celebrations, appreciation initiatives, and holiday functions to foster a positive workplace culture. Administrative & Operational Support Provide limited front desk support and assist with daily workflow as needed, including greeting visitors, answering phones, directing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Prepare documentation, sales activity reports, and expense reports to track marketing initiatives and measure results. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, referral outreach, or related experience (healthcare or dental setting preferred). Proven ability to execute marketing campaigns, promotional events, and outreach initiatives that drive business growth. Strong understanding of healthcare marketing principles and practice growth strategies. Experience with digital marketing, social media platforms, and website content management. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting to track referral trends and measure success. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and marketing-related platforms. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel locally as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to travel extensively by car to meet with providers and attend events. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding, telephone use, and handling materials. Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with field-based outreach responsibilities.
