Job Description

About
MCIM MCIM
is how critical facility operators make every data center stronger. With a purpose-built platform and real-time analytics, MCIM eliminates silos, removes blind spots, and ensures operators never go it alone in managing mission-critical infrastructure. For too long, data centers have operated with fragmented tools, inconsistent workflows, and unreliable data, capping their potential. MCIM unites operations, maintenance, capital planning, and reliability intelligence into one comprehensive platform built specifically for mission-critical environments. No silos — one platform that unites workflows across sites and teams No blind spots — clean, first-party data and benchmarking that drive better decisions No going it alone — a consultative partner dedicated solely to data center operations Trusted by leading colocation providers, hyperscalers, and global financial institutions, MCIM is purpose-built to support the complexity, density, and uptime demands of modern digital infrastructure. About the Role We're looking for an Events Marketing Manager to own the planning, execution, and marketing of MCIM's presence at industry trade shows, customer conferences, and hosted events. This role is equal parts strategist and operator: you'll develop the marketing plans that maximize our investment in each event, then roll up your sleeves and make sure every detail lands. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Demand Gen, Content, and the executive team to turn events into pipeline. What You'll Do Own end-to-end planning and execution of MCIM's trade show and conference calendar, including events like DICE, Datacloud, AFCOM, and similar industry gatherings Develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing plans that drive booth traffic, meeting volume, and qualified pipeline Manage event logistics including registration, booth design and setup, shipping, hotel blocks, travel coordination, and on-site staffing schedules Partner with Sales and BDRs to build prospect outreach strategies around key events, including targeted pre-show campaigns and post-show follow-up sequences Plan and execute hosted customer events such as advisory board dinners, regional roundtables, and executive briefings Coordinate speaker submissions, presentation materials, and thought leadership opportunities at target conferences Track and report on event ROI, including cost-per-meeting, pipeline generated, and influenced revenue, to inform future investment decisions Collaborate with Demand Gen and Content teams to align event themes with broader campaign messaging and ABM plays Manage relationships with event organizers, venue contacts, vendors, and sponsors Provide budget input and manage event spend against approved allocations, flagging risks and opportunities proactively Requirements 3-5 years of experience in events marketing, field marketing, or a closely related role, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology Proven track record of managing trade shows and conferences from planning through post-event analysis Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously Experience building pre- and post-event marketing campaigns that connect to pipeline goals Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership Comfortable with hands-on logistics: you've packed a booth, managed a shipping manifest, and solved problems on a show floor Experience with event and marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, marketing automation tools, event registration platforms) Budget management experience with a track record of maximizing ROI on event investments Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Nice to Have Familiarity with the data center industry, critical infrastructure, or adjacent enterprise verticals Experience with ABM-focused event strategies and account-based field marketing Exposure to hosted executive events (dinners, roundtables, customer advisory boards) Why Work Here MCIM is one of the fastest-growing platforms in one of the fastest-growing industries: digital infrastructure. We're transforming how mission-critical facilities operate, from compliance to uptime to capital planning. Backed by a strong capital partner and trusted by 75% of the world's top data center operators, MCIM is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of an essential global industry. We move fast, we think big, and we invest in people who want to do the best work of their careers.
