Job Description

Brand & Content Marketing Director Position Summary We are seeking a creative and strategic Brand & Content Marketing Manager to help shape the voice, personality, and community behind our growing ecommerce brand. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of customer-facing marketing content across email campaigns, newsletters, social media, and promotional initiatives. We are an established ecommerce company with a large customer base and strong product offering, but we are looking to elevate our brand identity, customer engagement, and overall brand experience. The ideal candidate understands how to blend storytelling, retention marketing, and community-building into content that drives both revenue and long-term customer loyalty. This is an opportunity for someone to build a brand presence from an existing foundation and wants meaningful ownership over brand communication and customer engagement. Brand Voice & Content Development Help define and maintain a consistent brand voice across all customer touchpoints Write compelling marketing copy for campaigns, product promotions, and customer communications Create engaging content that reflects the company's values and strengthens customer loyalty Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone and identity Social Media & Community Building Manage and grow social media presence across key platforms Develop content that encourages engagement and customer interaction Build a stronger sense of community around the brand Monitor trends, customer conversations, and opportunities for brand storytelling Coordinate promotional content, user-generated content, and brand campaigns Marketing Strategy & Collaboration Work closely with leadership to align marketing initiatives Analyze campaign performance and implement improvements Help identify opportunities to strengthen brand recognition and customer engagement Assist in developing long-term brand and content strategies Email & Retention Marketing Plan, write, and execute promotional email campaigns and newsletters Develop content calendars for seasonal promotions, launches, and customer engagement Manage customer segmentation and campaign scheduling Improve open rates, click-through rates, and customer retention performance Collaborate on lifecycle marketing strategies including welcome flows, abandoned cart campaigns, and post-purchase communication Required 2-5+ years of experience in ecommerce marketing, content marketing, brand marketing, or social media management Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities Experience managing email marketing campaigns Identify opportunities to use emerging technologies and AI tools to streamline workflows and improve output quality. Understanding of social media content strategy and audience engagement Ability to create organized marketing calendars and campaign schedules Strong communication and project management skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Preferred Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms Ecommerce experience with platforms like Shopify Basic graphic design/content creation experience using tools like Canva or Adobe products Experience with analytics and campaign performance reporting Familiarity with customer retention and lifecycle marketing Experience building or managing a recognizable brand voice Looking for an Energetic, Responsible, Well-Rounded, Hard-Working individual to join our team.
