Responsibilities Product-Led Growth:
Define and lead the vision and strategy for product-led growth across Microsoft's apps and services on Windows and mobile, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities to drive awareness and adoption at scale. Partner directly with multiple engineering organizations across Microsoft to design, execute, and iterate on in-product experiments — including onboarding flows, cross-app discovery, notifications, and other product surfaces — using hypothesis-driven experimentation to move adoption and engagement metrics. Build a rigorous experimentation practice across the team: Develop hypotheses grounded in user research and behavioral data, partner with engineering to implement tests, analyze results, and scale what works. Translate user research insights — particularly around awareness and discoverability gaps — into actionable growth strategies that engineering teams can execute against.Inbound and Outbound Marketing:
Lead inbound marketing efforts to understand user needs, jobs to be done, and market opportunities, and partner with engineering teams to inform what product experiences should be built. Drive outbound marketing for apps and services on Windows, primarily through email and web channels, to build awareness and nurture engagement among existing Windows and mobile users. Ensure a unified end-to-end customer journey across product and marketing surfaces, aligning in-product growth motions with outbound engagement strategies to create a coherent experience across touchpoints.People Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketers, fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture grounded in Microsoft's values. Design and evolve the team structure to meet the needs of a complex, cross-organizational growth charter. Attract, hire, and retain talent to build a team capable of operating at scale across product-led growth, inbound, and outbound marketing disciplines. Set clear priorities and operating rhythms that enable the team to deliver against business goals with rigor and accountability.Cross-Organizational Partnership:
Serve as a trusted partner to multiple engineering organizations and marketing teams across Microsoft, building relationships that ensure marketing is deeply embedded in product decision-making. Influence product roadmaps by ensuring customer insights and growth opportunities are reflected in engineering priorities.
