Job Description

The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the brand's presence across all e-commerce marketplace platforms. This includes ownership of product listings, advertising strategy, pricing, promotions, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of marketplace algorithms, and experience managing growth initiatives in a competitive CPG or supplement category.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Management:
Oversee daily operations and performance of all marketplace accounts (Walmart, Target, Instacart, Ebay, etc.).
Product Listings:
Create, optimize, and maintain product listings to maximize visibility, conversion, and compliance with platform standards.
Advertising Strategy:
Plan, execute, and analyze advertising campaigns across marketplaces (e.g., Walmart Connect).
Promotions & Pricing:
Develop and manage promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales and profitability.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor KPIs including sales performance, ROAS, conversion rates, and ranking metrics; generate regular reports and insights.
Inventory Coordination:
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and avoid out-of-stock or overstock scenarios.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Creative teams to align marketplace efforts with broader brand and sales objectives.
Competitor Tracking:
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure all listings, claims, and creative assets comply with marketplace policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience managing Amazon, Walmart, or similar e-commerce marketplaces. Strong understanding of digital merchandising, product ranking algorithms, and marketplace ad platforms. Proven ability to analyze and interpret sales and marketing data to drive performance decisions. Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, data dashboards, and marketplace analytics tools. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Experience with eCommerce and analytics platforms including Shopify, Helium 10, SPINS, Northbeam, Skio, and Amazon market research tools (e.g., Cobalt/Scout). Understanding of DTC operations and omnichannel commerce. Experience within CPG, supplement, or health & wellness industries preferred. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
