As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. Position Summary Mecum Auctions is seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Lifecycle Marketing & Events Manager to manage email campaign operations, customer segmentation, and branded event activations. This role is responsible for managing the marketing email calendar, ensuring auction and sponsor communications are strategically scheduled, and leading experiential brand activations both at auction and across non-auction events. The ideal candidate is equal parts detail-oriented operator, CRM/email strategist, and hands-on event leader , capable of moving seamlessly from campaign planning to on-site execution. Key Responsibilities Email Marketing & Campaign Operations Own and manage Mecum's marketing email calendar Proof emails built by support staff Ensure all email campaigns (single-car, group-car, collection eblast), auction communications, and marketing requests are properly calendared and deployed at their respective times. Build select email campaigns and manage their execution Create and send sponsored eblasts aligned with partner deliverables Develop auction-specific data extensions and customer segments for pre-auction communications, including: ticket buyers at-auction bidders consignors Create DE segments as needed, including pageviewer and auction close data segments Support miscellaneous segmentation and reporting requests Provide article posting support during team PTO coverage Events, Sponsorships & Brand Activations Research and identify events for sponsorship, brand visibility, and experiential marketing opportunities Plan, staff, execute, and manage the Mecum brand activations across non-auction events Manage Adventure Zone operations and staffing at auction in partnership with the bidder services team. Execute all activations in alignment with contractual sponsorship deliverables Coordinate with partners to ensure proper branding, placement, staffing, and guest experience Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for partner activation needs Lead activation setup, live operation, and breakdown when the logistics manager is unavailable Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure flawless execution Report on event costs, success, turnout, and subsequent ROI from event participation. Qualifications 3+ years in marketing operations, CRM/email marketing, events, or sponsorship activations Strong experience with campaign calendars, segmentation, and email deployment workflows Ability to manage multiple deadlines across auction cycles and live events Excellent communication and partner management skills Comfortable working on-site at events and leading activation execution Automotive, lifestyle, or live event experience strongly preferred
Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year
