We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and professional Summer Intern to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in a dynamic government contracting environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to executive-level decision-making, business operations, and strategic initiatives supporting U.S. Government programs. The intern will work closely with the COO and senior leadership, contributing to high-impact projects across operations, growth, and corporate priorities. This position is expected to be two days a week for up to six weeks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the COO with day-to-day operational priorities and special projects
Assist in preparing executive briefings, reports, and presentations
Conduct research and analysis on business operations, market trends, and government contracting topics
Help track key initiatives, action items, and strategic priorities across the organization
Coordinate and document internal meetings, including capturing notes and follow-ups
Assist in developing process improvements and operational efficiencies
Support cross-functional coordination with program management, finance, HR, and business development
Prepare materials for leadership reviews, customer engagements, and planning sessions
Job Requirements Job Requirements and Qualifications:
1-2 years in secondary education from an accredited university; minimum 3.0 GPA
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Detail-oriented
