RMD Law is a personal injury law firm in Irvine, California. We represent people hurt in car, truck, and motorcycle accidents across the state, and we have recovered more than $250 million for our clients. The firm runs lean, treats marketing as central to how we grow, and is seeking a Content & Social Media Specialist to help elevate our brand presence and digital marketing efforts.
Position Overview:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will support and execute RMD Law's content calendar across digital platforms. This role suits a detail-oriented and creative individual early in their marketing career, with a passion for writing, content creation, and digital marketing. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work alongside outside agency partners who support our digital marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Content Management:
Regularly review, revise, and refresh website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and AEO/SEO alignment Collaborate with the team and outside partners to update existing pages and publish new ones Monitor website performance and flag opportunities to improve user experience and engagement
Blog Content Creation:
Draft and edit timely, informative blog posts on personal injury topics for potential clients Coordinate with third-party agency partners on outlines, drafts, and timely publication Maintain the editorial calendar to keep publication on schedule Apply on-page AEO/SEO including headers, meta descriptions, internal links, and target keywords
Social Media Management:
Plan, write, and schedule compelling posts across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and LinkedIn Help with the planning, filming, and editing of short-form video content with our attorneys and staff Engage with followers, respond to comments, and monitor brand mentions to foster a positive and engaging online presence Track and report on social media performance metrics
Profile Management:
Keep Google Business Profiles and Yelp Profiles up to date with accurate contact information, service descriptions, photos, and posts Respond to reviews in a professional and timely manner Manage and update RMD Law's profiles and directory listings on third-party websites for consistency across all platforms Collaborate with third-party vendors to support visibility and credibility
Content Strategy & Collaboration:
Work closely with the CMO, attorneys, and staff to identify content ideas that reflect the firm's mission and values Bring forward ideas pulled from social trends, search data, and client questions Stay informed about trends in digital marketing and personal injury law to keep content relevant
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyze content performance across platforms using Google Analytics, Search Console, AI Visibility, and social media insights Provide regular reports on KPIs and surface opportunities for improvement
Internal Marketing:
Assist with planning, promoting, and socializing company-wide events and activities Help with the hiring process by promoting job openings, supporting application review, and coordinating interviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience 1 to 3 years of experience in content marketing, social media, digital marketing, or a related role. Internships and portfolio work count. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail Working knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) Familiarity with AEO/SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Surfer, BrightLocal) Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Elementor) Comfort with social media platforms and scheduling tools Familiarity with Google Business Profiles, Yelp, and other third-party directories Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in or writing for the legal industry Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Short-form video editing experience for social platforms Familiarity with CRM platforms and email marketing tools
