Performance Marketing Specialist SafewayTax - 4.6 Irvine, CA Job Details Full-time $72,000 - $85,000 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Management reporting Marketing analytics Channel management Campaign performance reporting Analytics Full Job Description About SafewayTax SafewayTax helps individuals and businesses resolve back taxes and IRS or state tax debt through programs like the Fresh Start Initiative and Offer in Compromise. We run a high volume, performance-driven acquisition engine, and every dollar of media spend is measured against real pipeline and revenue. The Role We're looking for a Performance Marketer to own our paid acquisition engine. You'll report directly to the CMO and live in the ad accounts day to day, running digital advertisments, optimizing the funnels that ad traffic lands on, and managing the lifecycle messaging that converts leads into booked calls. Your job is simple to state and hard to do well: bring in qualified leads at the lowest possible cost and prove it in the numbers. This is a hands-on, in-office role for a media buyer who thinks in CPL, CPA, and ROAS and wants full ownership of the channels that drive the business. What You'll Own Paid acquisition Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across various digital platforms Own budgets, audiences, bidding, and campaign structure against CPL and CPA targets Run a structured testing cadence across audiences, placements, and offers Monitor creative performance, spot fatigue early, and brief refreshes before results slip. Funnel and conversion Optimize and A/B test landing pages and lead funnels to lift conversion rate Diagnose funnel drop-off and fix the leaks that cost you leads Maintain clean UTM tracking and attribution from ad click through to closed deal Lifecycle and measurement Manage email and SMS re-engagement sequences tied to lead status, with an eye on 10DLC compliance Own reporting: Pull the numbers that show what's working and what to cut Partner with sales to connect ad spend to real conversion and revenue. What We're Looking For 3 to 5 years running paid acquisition with direct, hands-on budget responsibility Proven digital advertisement experience, ideally in lead-gen, financial services, or another regulated vertical.
Fluent in the metrics:
CPL, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and attribution Comfortable optimizing landing pages and funnels and reading the data behind them Working knowledge of email and SMS as conversion channels Self-directed and analytical, the kind of person who knows where every number comes from.
Bonus:
CRM and dialer integrations, offline conversion tracking (CAPI), or compliance-heavy marketing experience.
