ABOUT THIS ROLE
This team is the commercial arm of the world's leading platform for movement, connecting over 195 million athletes in more than 185 countries. We help global brands and agencies reach, engage, and inspire active people. Insight Global is seeking a Content Strategist to build our B2B content function from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who has built content programs at platforms like Pinterest, Reddit, or similar large-scale tech companies, and understands how to engage buyers, advertisers, and brands. You'll operate independently, shaping and executing a content strategy that moves brands and agencies closer to understanding why the for Business is the best platform for reaching active people.
DAY-TO-DAY
  • Build and deliver a structured content plan aligned to demand generation and awareness goals
  • Identify and address content gaps across the B2B buyer journey
  • Develop high-impact content calendars for owned/distributed channels (social, email, events, PR)
  • Engage with Strava's data team to create original, data-driven content formats (trend reports, audience insights, seasonal stories)
  • Manage the full content lifecycle: briefing, commissioning, writing, editing, publishing
  • Audit and improve existing content assets (case studies, thought leadership, partner materials)
  • Repurpose content for maximum engagement across channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external comms/PR partners for content distribution
  • Support ongoing content projects and process improvements
  • Ramp up by analyzing processes, interviewing clients/platforms, and distributing content via cross-functional teams

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Platform/industry experience (at a global platform) and skills experience (developing complex content programs across channels, specifically to marketers and advertisers)
  • 5+ years minimum in content strategy roles, ideally at a digital platform, media owner, or tech company engaging with brands/agencies
  • Proven track record building B2B content functions from scratch (preferably at platforms similar to Strava, Pinterest, Reddit)
  • Experience developing content for advertisers, buyers, and brands
  • Strong analytics implementation skills (web/app), ideally with Adobe Analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and AI for content creation and analysis
  • Comfortable managing external contributors (writers, designers, creators)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; clear POV on what makes B2B content worth reading
  • Ability to operate independently, make editorial decisions, and deliver against agreed outcomes
  • Experience with content roles and strategy in high-growth, tech-driven environments
PLUSSES:
  • Experience preparing and presenting content to senior stakeholders (CMOs, agency buyers)
  • Prior experience in content marketing leadership (e.g., Director of Content Marketing, Full Stack Operator)
  • Familiarity with freelance copywriter management and cross-functional collaboration
