Job Description

Partner Marketer Windsurf Marketing & Communications San Francisco, CA, USA • San Francisco Bay Area, CA, USA Posted on Dec 20, 2025 Apply now Location San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Austin Employment Type Full time Location Type On-site Department GTM We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents. Software is how the modern world runs—but there's not enough of it, and too much of what exists isn't good enough. Banks and governments still run COBOL from the 1970s. Budgets go to technical debt and maintenance instead of the features customers actually want. The bottleneck has always been the same: engineering talent is scarce and expensive, and budgets only stretch so far. AI agents make it possible to build more software, faster, at higher quality—and Cognition is at the center of that shift. We built Devin, the first AI software engineer, and we're working with some of the world's largest enterprises to fundamentally expand what their engineering organizations can deliver. We went from $1 to $X00M in revenue in a year, and are backed by some of the world's top investors, including Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Lux Capital, and 8VC. About the Role As a Partner Marketer at Cognition, you will drive how we collaborate with cloud providers, consulting firms, and technology partners to expand Cognition's reach and accelerate adoption of Devin and Windsurf. You'll play a key role in identifying which partners can best amplify our narrative, open doors to new customer segments, and increase credibility with enterprise engineering teams. You'll work closely with Partnerships, Sales, and Product Marketing to prioritize partners, develop joint value propositions, and deliver co-marketing programs that create pipeline and grow partner-sourced revenue. This role blends strategic selection with hands-on execution: you'll help determine where Cognition shows up through partners—then design how we show up with quality and precision. In this role, you will: Support partner prioritization by assessing alignment, reach, and potential impact on Cognition's core narratives and GTM goals Develop joint messaging and solution stories that clearly articulate the value of partnering with Cognition for enterprise engineering organizations Plan and execute co-marketing initiatives including launches, webinars, solution briefs, digital campaigns, events, and workshops Work with cloud and consulting partners to build integrated motions that expand Cognition's distribution and deepen engagement with technical buyers Manage partner presence at strategic industry events and ensure alignment between partner programming and Cognition's overall GTM motion Create partner-facing enablement materials—messaging guides, training resources, product content, and marketing kits—to scale our reach through partner teams Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships to ensure partner activities translate into pipeline, co-selling momentum, and measurable business outcomes Track and report performance of partner programs, using insights to guide future investment and partner selection Requirements for the role: Experience in partner marketing, alliances marketing, or product marketing for a technical or enterprise software company Ability to work cross-functionally and influence Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating technical concepts into partner-ready narratives Proven ability to run integrated marketing programs and measure their impact Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with high expectations for quality Analytical mindset—you know how to evaluate program performance and adjust based on results You might excel if you… have experience working with cloud partners (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise technology ecosystems previously built partner programs at a high-growth startup enjoy crafting narratives and packaging complex value propositions are comfortable engaging directly with partner executives and technical leaders thrive in environments where you're simultaneously strategic and hands-on are ambitious, customer-obsessed, and excited to scale Cognition's partner ecosystem Apply now See more open positions at Windsurf
