Job Description

Introduction to the job We are looking for a highly skilled Researcher to join our Technology Development team, driving innovation in advanced semiconductor inspection solutions. In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge applications for DRAM and NAND technologies, working closely with both internal teams and leading industry customers. You'll have the opportunity to combine deep expertise in eBeam inspection with hands-on leadership, shaping technical direction, solving complex challenges, and influencing future product capabilities. This is a highly visible role with strong impact, ideal for someone who enjoys both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment. Role and responsibilities Lead the development of advanced eBeam inspection applications for DRAM and NAND technologies Define and refine application requirements in collaboration with customers, product teams, and engineering Act as a primary technical interface with key customers, providing expertise and building trusted relationships Drive execution of critical application projects, ensuring timely delivery and high technical quality Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across applications, engineering, and product management Translate complex customer challenges into practical, scalable technical solutions Identify opportunities to improve inspection capability and influence future product and application roadmap Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact technical issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Contribute to innovation in next-generation memory applications, including emerging DRAM and NAND architectures Support knowledge sharing and capability building within the applications team Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field (required) Master's degree in a relevant discipline (strongly preferred) Skills Deep technical expertise in eBeam inspection applications and semiconductor processes Strong knowledge of DRAM and/or NAND technologies Excellent customer communication and presentation skills Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex technical environments Ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable technical requirements Effective project leadership and execution skills in fast-paced settings Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product, and field teams Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic thinking Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar) are a plus Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving environments The current base annual salary range for this role is currently: $177,000-265,500 Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members. The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
