  • IBM is seeking a qualified, high‑energy Professional Services Senior Consultant to join our team.
This is a highly collaborative, team‑oriented role supporting our largest and most strategic customers, with strong potential for growth and overachievement.

This is a business‑consulting role that works closely with strategic customers and plays a critical role in driving successful outcomes, making it central to IBM's continued success.
  • Manage and deliver enterprise implementation projects with our largest and most strategic customers
  • Ensure long-term adoption for customers, support organizational change and generate business value in a short timeline
  • Deliver business analysis and solutions engineering - work closely with our customer champions to understand in detail the use cases and business processes, and define and implement the solutions in IBM
  • Prepare technical objectives - identify and describe key goals and provide the work processes to achieve these goals
  • Engage with customers and other parties to develop system design, functional and technical specifications to meet customer functionality, reporting, customization and integration requirements
  • Lead workshops with clients to review business processes in relation to Inventory Management
  • Serve as the software expert and product specialist, aiming to solve customer business challenges
  • Engage closely with and provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering regarding customers' unmet product needs
  • Required technical and professional expertise
  • 5-10 years of Inventory Management and/or Materials and Reliability industry experience
  • 10-15 years professional services / technology consulting / sales engineering experience with focus in software / IT in enterprise customers (SAP, Maximo)
  • Microsoft SQL Skills
  • Experience designing/implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions, cloud services, and providing business-transformation consulting services, including strategic planning and business process re-engineering
  • Ability to deliver world-class services and high-impact results
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at any given time and stay on top of all details
  • Ability to facilitate and harness cross-team collaboration working with teams in-person and virtually across the globe
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Positive attitude and very customer-centric; always willing to put the customers' needs first
  • Expert knowledge of various software development process models and with procedural and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Knowledge of build systems and software development tools
  • BS or MS degree in business, computer science, engineering or other scientific degree
  • Preferred technical and professional experience
  • 15+ years of experience in end‑to‑end solutioning, effort estimations, and delivery for enterprise platforms
  • Recent hands‑on experience configuring and supporting MIO
  • Experience performing MIO assessments, identifying gaps, and advising on roadmap and best practices
  • Must Have Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate customer requirements, objectives, and technical IT drivers to the company's professional services, support and technical services organizations
  • Decisive, resourceful and innovative, with demonstrated success at developing and implementing original ideas
