This role is a critical part of our Customer Marketing team, driving the development, execution, and optimization of personalized email marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement across AutoNation's Lines of Business. The Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing advanced customer segmentation, designing dynamic campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure and maintain continuous improvement. In collaboration with third-party vendors, this role will also lead initiatives focused on acquisition, customer retention, customer reactivation and conversion of franchise audiences into multi-product purchasers.
Job Responsibilities :
Email Marketing Execution:
Develop, design, and deploy personalized email campaigns, including A/B testing, template creation, HTML coding, proofing, and execution. Ensure campaigns meet brand standards, compliance regulations, and technical best practices for maximum effectiveness.
CRM & Data Management:
Manage the Adobe Campaign tool, assembling and analyzing workflows to optimize customer communications. Provide recommendations for process improvements, troubleshoot data variances, and ensure accurate reporting and segmentation
Campaign Analysis & Insights:
Analyze email performance and deliver actionable insights to enhance campaign success and optimize future strategies.
Vendor & Asset Collaboration:
Partner with external vendors to create dynamic, highly personalized email assets and video content that align with campaign objectives 3rd
Party ESP Management:
Oversee external email service provider (ESP) relationships, including campaign setup, reporting and reconciliation.
Cross-Channel Marketing Support:
Contribute to special projects to enhance customer experience across email, SMS, direct mail, and digital channels. Participate in ideation, audience definition, testing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration.
Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the seamless operation of the Customer Marketing team.
Qualifications:
Expertise in HTML coding and execution using best-in-class ESP tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Adobe Campaign. 5+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related field within a fast-paced, customer-driven business or agency environment. Familiarity with campaign automation platforms like Adobe Campaign or Marketo Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with the ability to create visually compelling designs. Advanced Excel skills, including data organization, analysis, and visualization. Experience with SQL or campaign automation software is highly desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to convey complex information succinctly. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, balancing multiple priorities effectively. Meticulous attention to detail, organizational acumen, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
