Follett Higher Education supports over 6 million students through its 1,100 physical and 1,750 eCommerce campus stores across North America. The Non-Emblematic Specialist will support product onboarding, order placement, and business initiatives for non-emblematic products across retail channels. This role works cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure products are effectively launched, stocked, and sold. Responsibilities Work directly with the buying functions and vendors to onboard products. Perform SKU maintenance seasonally in all systems. Prepare and edit purchase orders in the Merchandise Management System (MMS). Resolve issues related to fulfilling orders and follow up on order status. Responds to store requests and inquiries. Works with buyer(s) to determine the need for a new vendor. Researches and interviews potential suppliers to determine suitability to specification requirements. Assist in promo entry for non-emblematic categories as needed. Other duties as assigned to drive business strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree related field or equivalent. 2+ years of retail experience, within a specialty retail environment, in addition to possessing basic merchandising experience. Proven track record of getting things done in a fast-paced environment. Solid interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organizational skills. General computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office products. Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills. Pay Transparency The annual salary/hourly rate range has been established based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. The exact starting salary/hourly rate within the range will depend on the role and the local market. This position may be eligible to participate in one of the Company's incentive plans. The amount of any incentive payment varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, 401(k) plan, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
