January 2026 Position Summary The Field Marketing Specialist is a full-time, field-based role responsible for driving local sales growth, community engagement, and brand visibility within a defined regional market. Serving as the connection between corporate marketing strategy and day-to-day store execution, the ideal candidate should have the ability to thrive and operate in a matrixed reporting environment to ensure company led initiatives are practical, measurable, and consistently activated in the field. This position is ideal for someone who understands grassroots marketing, enjoys working directly in the field, and brings experience in local marketing tactics and/or restaurant operations—preferably within the pizza or QSR industry. Key Responsibilities Local Marketing Execution & Sales Growth Accountable to increasing sales in a pre-defined geographical region. Execute the Local Store Marketing (LSM) plan and store-level initiatives for an assigned regional market, ensuring alignment with overall LSM strategy and goals. Customize and implement approved marketing strategies and tactics to meet local market needs while supporting company-wide objectives. Exercise autonomy in day-to-day planning and execution within brand standards, system priorities, and approved frameworks. Partner with General Managers, District Managers, and Operations leadership to ensure initiatives are operationally realistic and effectively executed. Monitor local performance, competitive activity, and community dynamics, adjusting tactics as needed to optimize results and fit customer preferences. Track and report LSM performance, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, budgets, and ROI. Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all local marketing efforts, while sharing insights and recommendations with the Field Marketing Manager. Community Engagement & Local Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, businesses, community organizations, nonprofit partners, and store teams. Plan and execute community-focused initiatives, including school nights, fundraisers, resident events, local sponsorships, and other grassroots campaigns that increase store visibility. Support grand openings, re-openings, and local awareness events, ensuring a consistent and positive brand presence. Represent the brand at community events, serving as an engaged, in-market ambassador. Campaign & Program Execution Execute system-wide promotions and seasonal campaigns within the regional market, customizing approaches for local effectiveness. Explore and identify additional partnerships and local store marketing programs that they believe can positively impact the full portfolio of restaurants. Coordinate distribution and implementation of marketing materials, signage, and POP displays at the store level. Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards and promotional guidelines across all assigned stores. Support local catering and business outreach initiatives in partnership with store teams. Store Collaboration & Support Serve as the primary in-market marketing partner for store and operations teams, providing hands-on guidance on LSM best practices. Collaborate with General Managers and District Managers to identify market-specific opportunities and implement initiatives effectively. Assist with in-store training, execution coaching, and real-time problem-solving for promotions, events, and marketing materials. Act as the field liaison for corporate marketing initiatives and resources, ensuring alignment while adapting strategies to meet local market needs. Performance Tracking & Reporting Monitor and analyze local market trends, competitive activity, and store-level performance to inform marketing decisions. Track the execution and results of local marketing initiatives, campaigns, and key performance indicators. Collect insights and feedback from store teams and community partners to optimize future initiatives. Maintain organized records of marketing activities, budgets, and ROI. Share best practices, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations with the Field Marketing Manager. Prepare comprehensive performance reports, including monthly and quarterly updates for leadership. Required Qualifications Education & Experience 2+ years of marketing, local store marketing, or operational experience, ideally in QSR, franchise, or multi-unit restaurant environments. Hands-on experience executing local marketing campaigns, community engagement initiatives, or store-level promotions. Operational experience in pizza or QSR industry is a plus. Skills & Competencies Ability to operate in a matrixed reporting environment. Strong understanding of local store marketing tactics and franchise operations. Ability to identify and develop local business opportunities and community partnerships. Experience building relationships with store teams, local businesses, and community organizations. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Creative problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset focused on local market impact. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. Previous franchise or multi-unit restaurant marketing experience. Familiarity with Marco's Pizza brand, menu, and operations. Experience with local digital marketing, social media, and event coordination. Established network of local community contacts and partners. Background in marketing, sales, catering, or B2B relationship management is a plus. Travel Requirements Daily travel within the regional market to visit stores and community partners, attend community events, and support initiatives. Overnight travel may be required for grand openings, trainings, or special programs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
