Marketing Specialist
SUPERVISOR
Director of Marketing EXEMPT (Y/N): Yes
CLASSIFICATION
Key Employee SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for reviewing customer data and creative for the purposes of building and loading marketing campaigns, offers and promotions in marketing systems that drive customer loyalty, increase revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience. This role involves, but is not limited to, reviewing player data, building offer segments, coupons, promotions and loading data in marketing systems for verification and testing. The Marketing Specialists also assists the VIP Host with player development initiatives as needed to retain the casinos best customers, development of new customers and increased visitation of all customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Builds or assists in the build, review and testing of all promotions, drawings and offers in the kiosk and player tracking systems to ensure information is correct and working as expected. Works with VIP Hosts and Marketing Team to create personalized offers and incentives to maximize customer engagement of VIP players. As instructed by the Marketing Director, assists the VIP Hosts with training, information and understanding of VIP customer needs, expectations, etc. necessary in retaining player loyalty of the casinos most valued guests. Maintains documentation of review and approved sign off all offer and promotional builds in the player tracking and promotion system and testing of PKMS promotions. Compiles data and prepares tracking analysis from all marketing systems as requested by the Marketing Director. Assists with the approval review of all direct mail and email marketing campaigns, including data and list segmentation, reviewing offer loads and creative content. Works closely with the marketing and advertising teams, to ensure consistent messaging and branding. Works with the Director of Marketing in extracting and reviewing data for monthly tier upgrades. Assists in confirming all marketing campaigns and activities comply with regulatory requirements and departmental policies and procedures. Works all promotions and special events as needed. Communicates and work well with player's club and marketing team members in support of all marketing initiatives. Performs any other duties assign by management.
Minimum Qualification:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of 2 years in similar positon or combination of education and experience in high volume casino operations. Two (2) or more years' experience in IGT Patron Management. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and casino marketing systems. Ability to function in a fast paced environment, under short time constraints and within established deadlines. Maintain a business attire dress code and professional appearance. Ability to interpret data and list information in a timely manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must work well with all departments. Ability to contribute creative thinking and input in the development of marketing programs. Strong project management skills and self-motivation.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand for up to eight hours; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. Some work is performed in a Resort setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a moderate noise level. Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common.
