Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for invoice processing, marketing billing, point-of-sale (POS) fulfillment, and supporting key marketing operations initiatives. In this role, the individual will collaborate closely with La-Z-Boy's finance teams to assist with budget management, accruals, forecasting, and the monthly and quarterly close processes. Additionally, this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing vendors, internal stakeholders, and La-Z-Boy Stores to ensure seamless execution of operational and financial activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties as assigned): Invoice Processing & Financial Coordination Process up to 200 national and retail marketing invoices monthly. Work with external vendors, the retail marketing team, the finance team and accounts payable team to ensure proper payment and market allocation. Manage invoice processing across multiple financial systems (E1 and Hive9). Manage all credit requests for marketing. Lead dealer invoicing for select marketing and dealer programs. This includes:
E1 billings on either a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis for a number of dealer programs, including but not limited to Rendering Tool, CRM, Dealer email, Website and Branded Catalog. Partner with Procurement to set up all new vendors in E1, as needed by the Marketing department. Financial Planning, Reporting & Budget Management Support the finance team with the month-end/quarter-end close process for retail marketing for the company-owned stores. Providing reporting and guidance on paid expenses, new accruals and reversed accruals for 75+ DMAs and HQ. Lead the budget forecast meetings with the marketing team and assist in monthly forecasting and budget management. Work with the retail marketing team to input all expected expenses into a marketing finance tool in order to ensure accurate budget management. Maintain Planful, budget tracker spreadsheets, and other budget management tools on a daily basis. Assist in the implementation of Planful for the marketing team. Manage quarterly inputs into the Hive9 system or any new systems as required. Estimate use tax on eligible goods by working with the internal tax department. Marketing Operations & Retail Support Perform operational duties to support promotional set-up, including RMS finance code set-up, working with the operations team to accurately set up promo specs, assisting with the web management of hours, promo banners, and trafficking of print ads or digital assets. Assist with ordering of marketing POS/signage/swatches for newly remodeled stores, new openings and acquired stores, as well as work with our fulfillment partner to process invoices with added transportation costs. Partner with Channel Marketing team to ensure core POS/Fixture inventory is properly managed and re-ordered when needed based on expected usage. Support inventory management and invoicing for fulfillment as needed. SCOPE & IMPACT
This position will be responsible for processing invoices monthly for all national and retail media activity and issuing monthly billing for marketing expenses for all La-Z-Boy retail stores. In addition, this role is responsible for assisting the finance team on monthly close, accruals, budget management and forecasting for the retail marketing team. This role will also manage various fulfillment duties, which include managing inventory levels and ordering materials for fulfillment and other programs. The role will require much collaboration with Agency partners, all of the La-Z-Boy stores (corporate, independent and other channels) and many internal resources to successfully and effectively manage responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office and Power Point Prior experience with ERP systems/Oracle JD Edwards Flexible and willing to learn/adapt to new systems and programs Travel:
