General Information Ref # 49849 Department Marketing Job Site Mission Pet Health Date Published 04-20-2026 Pay Class Full-Time Job Description We're seeking a data-driven and execution-focused Marketing Automation Specialist to support and deliver client lifecycle programs across our veterinary hospital network. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution, owning the end-to-end delivery of multi-channel communications that drive engagement, retention, and loyalty. You will partner closely with strategy, analytics, and operations teams to translate business priorities into targeted, personalized campaigns—while also building, deploying, and optimizing those campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both thinking through the "why" and executing the "how." Key Responsibilities Lifecycle Strategy & Optimization Support the development of lifecycle journeys including onboarding, wellness, reactivation, and loyalty programs Analyze campaign performance to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities Assist in building and refining audience segmentation strategies using CDP and CRM data Contribute to A/B testing plans, including hypothesis development, execution, and results analysis Identify opportunities to improve personalization and dynamic content strategies Campaign Execution & Automation Build and deploy email, SMS, and automated journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Configure Journey Builder workflows, including triggers, decision splits, and personalization logic Develop and manage audience segments and data extensions Execute thorough QA processes to ensure accuracy across targeting, content, and timing Trouble shoot issues related to campaign setup, data flows, and delivery Maintain documentation for campaign builds, workflows, and governance standards Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing automation Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio preferred) Strong understanding of customer journey design, segmentation, and personalization Experience analyzing campaign performance and applying insights to improve results Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and KPI tracking High attention to detail with strong QA and execution discipline Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Preferred Qualifications Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) Basic knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, or HTML for email Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or multi-location business models Responsibilities and Benefits How You're Supported As part of the Mission Pet Health Home Office team, you'll be joining a collaborative group of professionals dedicated to supporting our hospital teams and shaping the future of veterinary medicine.
